        You were cuddling lazily under a sheet with your boyfriend Leo. His arm protectively around you while he hid his face in your hair, a gesture you had grown to love over time. You sighed.
     
   You felt that something was off about him. The past few weeks he would either be way too affectionate or rather distant never something in between. It drove you crazy. Sure you didn't mind him being over affectionate but when he was distant he made your heart crack. It was rare moments like this where you really could see the old Leo you had fallen in love with.
   
      You had expressed your fears to annabeth and Percy. They both gave you a worried look that they later exchanged. Annabeth told you it was most likely nothing and Percy nodded reluctantly.
   
     You weren't stupid, you knew something was up but you just couldn't put your finger on it. After all what were you gonna say? Maybe he wasn't in his best mood , let's not forget you were all demigods and that involved a lot of trauma. So you decided it was best to shrug it off.
       

       "Babe?" You murmured your face pressed on his chest. "Hmm?" He moaned in response. There was a moment of silence where you regretted even starting the talk. "Nevermind" you said finally. Leo pulled away and gazed at you concerned.
 
        "Everything alright (y/n)?" He asked his eyes glued on you. "Yeah" you replied laconically in fear that if you continued talking all your feelings and thoughts would burst out.
       
  Leo did not give up though, "(y/n)! Did anybody hurt you?" He questioned worriedly. You shook your head in response and sat up from the bed as you made your way to the door of your cabin.
 
     Leo followed you in a state of confusion as to what was going on and you were too scared to tell him. "(Y/n)!!!" Leo yelled behind you. "I have archery lessons" you simply said while you turned to give him a forced smile and he stood there looking at you frustrated.
        

 
       Days passed from that incident and you had erased it from your mind completely. It was a warm Sunday morning and you were searching for Leo. You guessed he would be in bunker 9 as always, he must have called asleep while working on a project.
 
      For some reason that day you woke up with a positive feeling. Happiness flowed through your veins and a smile was curved on your face. Annabeth saw you on your way to the bunker nine and greeted you. "(Y/n)! Good morning! Feeling well today?" Your smile grew bigger. "Annie! Good morning to you too! I really am! I am heading to bunker nine" you responded. At that response annabeth's smile faltered a little but still managed to keep it. "Great, tell Leo I said hi" she said and you nodded following your path.
 
         *Weird* you thought... But then again you didn't care that much. As you reached the bunker you stopped at your tracks. You took a deep breath and you opened the door.  The sunlight creeped in the dark bunker with you lighting up the place. Your eyes took a few seconds to adjust to the darkness but as soon as they did you really wished they hadn't.
 
         There was leo, half naked with another half naked girl next to him with only a thin blanket covering what their lust had left. At that sight you were ready to puke. Leo was staring wide eyed at you and the girl next to him looked more scared than surprised.
   
    You somehow managed to keep a poker face but at the same time you could feel your heart throb and ache at the sight before you. All this relationship... apparently was nothing to leo. You had put all your love and heart in him just so that he could stomp on it. You nodded in defeat. "Huh..." You muttered coldly.
   
       "(Y-y/n) I swear it is not what it looks like" he stammered trying to find an excuse. You could not help but let a laugh. You didn't know how this laugh came out... "Leo you could have chosen a better phrase than that to basically tell me that our relationship is over" you said. He looked stunned at you while the girl next to him covered her naked body trembling at what you were going to do to her.
   
      "Nonono no... Our relationship can't be over" he stuttered in desperation. "You are right...we most likely hadn't a relationship, after all a relationship is between two people and you clearly don't know how to count" you snapped leaving his mouth hang open.
   
      "As for you dear" you said turning to the girl under the sheet. "You have no reason to fear that I will avenge you so stop trembling like a fucking chicken. You know what they say anyways, if a woman steals your man there is no better revenge than letting her keep the bastard, see ya"

      When you finally walked out that door you felt the tears ran down your cheeks. You were glad they made their appearance now and not when you were talking to him. How did you keep your composure throughout that whole experience? You really wish you knew.
     
    "(Y/n)!!! Please listen to me!" You heard Leo cry behind you but you didn't even bother to turn around.

Leo was trying hard enough to win you back. He was outside of your door siting on your doorstep begging for you to accept his sincere apology. But you both knew it was useless. That day you had finally made a decision and you weren't going to let it wither.
 
          You walked outside your cabin completely ignoring Leo who was following you apologising profusely. Chiron came to you. "(Y/n)...lady Artemis is here to see you" he explained in a low tone and you nodded with a satisfied smile. Leo who had overheard what Chiron told you ran after you and grabbed your shoulder.

      "(Y/n). Please don't... You have so much potential-" he mumbled. "That's exactly why she is doing it" a voice interrupted him.  There stood before them lady Artemis. A teenager with dark hair and smart silver eyes. "I had expressed my interest in (y/n) a long time ago but she kindly refused saying that she had someone she really cared about.  I didn't really put my hopes down though cause I know that men can be pigs, as it seems I was right." She said and then turned to (y/n) in a look of approval. "You are becoming a hunter tonight (l/n)."
       
        Leo could not gather himself. He had lost everything he loved other than his friends and even they were becoming distant because of what he did. (Y/n) loved him so much that she had given up Artemis' offer and he had been so ungrateful he threw away a happy life with you. Why had he cheated? Why? He couldn't help but ask this question to himself. He had begged her not to do it but she ignored him as if he was nothing but a whisper in the air.
 
           That night was the last night he saw you for years. Only when you left did he realise his feelings were all now gone. He couldn't feel anything... nothing brought him joy anymore, he grew so cynical and apathetic that life seemed like a dull white and black movie for him. That's what it had cost him his blinded lust.
