They stared at each other not believing what just happened. Did Lezrin or Aryel kiss the other first? All they knew was they were in trouble by the High Council but didn't really care in the moment. A dog barked in the distance as well as a few other sounds but all they knew was each other right now. They were deaf to all else, except the pull towards the other. The rules didn't occur to them. Demons and Angels don't mix and neither do Hybrids. But as they walked away hand in hand, they didn't realize the being who had witnessed this would be their downfall.
