Chapter 9

So it was now Wednesday and Michael was really having second thoughts about his talk with Ebony later after school.

"Oh come on man, don't be a chicken!" Calum teased.

"She's just going to reject me!" Michael insisted.

"Oh don't be stupid, she is crazy about you!" Bella exclaimed.

"She hasn't actually told anyone that though, has she?" Michael said rolling his eyes.

"She might be afraid of rejection too" Luke suggested.

"You will never know how she feels about you until you ask her out, if she doesn't feel the same then you can remain friends" Calum said.

"But what if it makes our friendship awkward?" Michael groaned.

"It won't! Michael don't worry about it, she's not going to reject you anyway" Bella insisted.

"You have like 10 minutes of this period until we go home to make up your mind" Luke said "I would just go for it"

"I'm just worried you know? What if she doesn't feel the same" Michael asked sadly.

"Then she is missing out mate" Calum said.

"I see the way she is with you Mikey, and she's always talking about you, I'm sure she likes you back" Bella encouraged.

"Why is this so damn hard!" He whined.

"Come on mate you can do it" Luke laughed

"Yeah, don't be a chicken! If you chicken out I will disown you" Calum joked.

"But what if she doesn't feel the same!"

"Stop asking that Jesus Christ, if she rejects you then make out the whole thing was a dare and then you can both laugh about it" Calum joked.

"Mate I'm being serious I can't loose her..."

"And you won't! Because she is going to say yes!" Bella smiled, just as the school bell went off.

"There you go, that's your queue!" Luke said, pushing him towards the door to go and find Ebony.

"Good luck!" Bella, Calum and Luke shouted.

"I'm gunna need it..." He muttered under his breath as he made his way towards her locker.

He raced down the busy hall way and when he reached Ebony's locker, she was already getting her stuff out.

"Hey" she beamed, putting her bag over her shoulder.

"Hey Kitten, you ready to go?" He asked, she nodded and he took her hand, leading her down the hall way.

"So are we just going back to your place?" Ebony asked.

"Yeah, I've just converted a room into my new man cave, I thought we could order pizza and I could maybe teach you how to play video games?"

"Yeah that sounds great!"

They walked through the car park and Michael opened the passenger door for Ebony.

"Thanks" she giggled.

"My pleasure" he winked, walking around to the drivers side and sliding into the seat.

He turned the radio on and Teenagers by My Chemical Romance came blasting through the speakers, and when Michael reached to change it, Ebony slapped his hand away.

"Don't change it, I love this song!" She said, turning up the volume.

"You like My Chemical Romance?"
