The Only Option Left

2030 Earth

The last cities on earth had only one option for survival left. The sun had exploded and earth was left a ball of ice.

Worlds had died in the explosion of the universe and only earth had survivors. No one knew why the sun had exploded. Some thought it was a nuclear bomb set on Venus to mine for new sources of energy. Others blamed it on a huge black hole sucking the sun in oblivion.

Earth was dying. Without the heat from the Sun people froze. What little heat was left was precious. Crime was at an all time high and no one could stop it. The only hope earth had left was 2 Government official videos made in 2020: one predicting what would happen in 2030 and another how to stop the incident. However in 2020 they thought it was absolute rubbish and locked the videos away in steel plated boxes to be sent to separate corners of the world.

Inscribed on the first box was "There's something out there, waiting for us, and for once we don't know how to fix it."
