Chapter 8

A week later 

"Jin?" I asked as I opened the door to my bedroom, I peeked my head in and he was sound asleep, I walked over and shook him a little "Jin, wake up"
"Hmm?" He rolled over and rubbed his face into the pillow 
"We have to get ready to leave, Liza just picked up Ellie and we have to check out apartments today" 
"Five more minutes" 
"No" I giggled "wake up"
"Uuuuhhhhggggg" he groaned as he moved around in the bed making me laugh 
"Come on Jinniiiieeee" I sang making him smile as he finally opened his eyes 
"I can't have five more minutes?"
"No, let's go" I smiled "we have a bunch of places to look at and I tried to map them out so that we don't have to backtrack and drive all over the place" 
"Can we eat first?"
"We can get breakfast on the way. The rest of the guys are still sleeping anyway so cooking would be pointless" 
"Okay" he pulled the blankets off of himself and got out of the bed, his hair was sticking up in different directions and his pajama pants were practically falling off of his hips but at least his shirt was on. I laughed at him as I stood on my tiptoes to ruffle his hair, he gave me a soft smile and watched me fix it for him 
"Better?" He asked 
"Much" I smiled "now get dressed and let's go" 

“Too dirty”

“Smells bad”

“Too overpriced”

“Terrible fucking neighborhood” 

“Too far”

“Noona.. I don’t think I’m going to find a place before our vacation is over”
“I don’t think so either” I shook my head as I stared at the road, we were stuck in traffic trying to get back to my house after an entire day of let downs. 
“Well this was a bust” he tapped his knuckles on the window of my car as he stared out at the sidewalk 
“If you don’t mind my asking..how much money do you have to work with?” 
“Not much” he shook his head as he pouted out his plump lips 
"Well, I mean, if you want..you can stay with Ellie and I? She likes you uncle Jinnie" I cheesed "and we get along. It'll help you save up until you can find a place without settling on some shitty apartment" 
"I can't do that" he shook his head "I would feel like I was putting you out" 
"You're not, that's why I offered" I shrugged as the light turned green and I continued driving, he stayed quiet for a few minutes and I was letting him think it over

"You really wouldn't mind?" 
"If I did, I wouldn't have offered" 

He nodded at my words as I glanced over at him 

"You'll be able to come and go as you please, if you're worried about rules, I only ask there's no strangers, drugs, or excessive drinking around Ellie" 
"I would never!" He sat up straight and his eyes grew wide "I have way too much respect for you and her to even think about any of th-"
"I know" I chuckled "I know Jin, I was only throwing it out there as boundaries, I know you wouldn't" 
"Thank you" he smiled and relaxed a bit into his seat "I guess we really will be hanging out often" he laughed making me laugh with him 
"Yeah we will, Ellie will be ecstatic"
"She's so precious" 
"I know" I smiled softly 
"So..how much do I owe you per month?"

I parked the car in the driveway and looked over at him "nothing, the only thing I ask is that you clean up after yourself, and maybe pitch in for groceries here and there" I shrugged 
"No, Yumi, I need to pay you"
"No you don't. You need to save up so you can do your program and get on your feet" 
"You do realize my program is like three years long right?"
"Okay" I shrugged "and if at any point in those three years you get your own place, awesome, if not, that's okay too. Ellie and I will be here either way" 
"You're so awesome" he leaned over the center console and hugged me tightly making me laugh as I returned the hug 
"Thanks Jin" 
"No, thank you!" He finally released me as we made our way out of the car and into my house.
