Best Big Brother Ever

Rumble was having a very rough day. He had some bruises on his face and a black eye. He was walking on his way home and in pain. He was picked on by a bunch of bullies at school and they called him mean names and beat him up. As he heard those names in his head that he was called, he started to feel some tears running from his eyes.

As the light gray pegasus colt made it to his house, he opened the door and there he saw Thunderlane was relaxing on the couch watching TV. Rumble walked slowly towards him.

"Oh hello little bro...how was..." then Thunderlane paused. He saw Rumble was covered up in some bruises and a black eye. "Holy Celestia, Rumble what happened too you" Thunderlane asked? Thunderlane started to feel worried. "Why are there bruises on your face" Thunderlane asked.

Rumble started to walk slowly away to his room. "I don't wanna talk about just leave me alone" Rumble shouted feeling very upset. Then he started to cry to his room. Thunderlane felt worried. "But Rumble...please just tell me" Thunderlane said. "I said leave me alone" Rumble asked. Then he slammed his bedroom door shut. Thunderlane felt worried about his little brother. So he decided to give him a break for a while.

Moments later, Thunderlane walked towards his little brother's room, and he knocked on the door. "Rumble, may I come in please, I wanna talk to you". Rumble started to stammer, "S-sure Thunderlane" he replied. Thunderlane then opened his door and sat right next to him. "He gently hugged Rumble with his wing and gently wiped a tear from his little bro's eye. "Is everything going okay at school, is something bothering you or something? Please tell me" Thunderlane said. "Just take your time and tell me what happened" Thunderlane said ash he placed a hoof on his little brother's front hoof. 

Rumble started to breathe slowly then started to sniff, "Okay...so today at school during lunch, I was about to eat my sandwich you made for me, and then I was about to eat the other half and then these to colts bullied me and the grabbed it from me, then I tried to get it back but then the other colt wrestled me and punched me in the eye, and during recess, the pushed me down the slide making me land on my back and it hurt me really bad" Thunderlane started to feel bad for Rumble "Aww my poor little brother, I can't believe this happened to you" Thunderlane told him. "What else happened" Thunderlane asked. "Well...after that they called me mean names, the Crusaders, along with Diamond Tiara, Silver Spoon, Skeedaddle, Tender Taps, and Pipsqueak tried to stop them but they shoved them into each other. Then they told me I don't deserve to live in Ponyville, and it, hurted my feelings" Rumble then started to cry.

Thunderlane gently wiped Rumble's tears and gently rubbed his back and stroked his mane with comfort and hugged him. "There, there Rumble, your big brother is here for you. Everything is gonna be okay, I promise everything is going to be okay, your big brother is here for you." As the colt started to shiver, Thunderlane held Rumble closely comfortingly and started gently rubbing Rumble's back. "There, there little bro, everything is going to be okay. I will always love you and take care of you whenever you need me, I will be there to protect you and comfort you." 

Rumble started to smile a little bit, and looked up to his brother. "I love you too Thunderlane, you are the best brother I ever had. You are my favorite as always"

After 15 minutes of nice warm hugs from his big brother, Rumble happily looked up to his big brother, hugging him, with Thunderlane hugging back. "There, there Rumble, everything is going to be okay, it was just a nightmare...please don't be scared, it wasn't only a bad dream, your big brother is here to protect you. I promise...I will not let anything bad happen to you. You're the best little brother I could ever ask for. Rumble felt a tear from his eye and wiped it with his hoof. "Th-thanks Thunderlane, I love you." Rumble said while joyfully Crying. Thunderlane wrapped his wing around him. "I love you too little bro, I'll be there for you whenever you need me".
