Nola Dickens has just one wish: to have a home. Not just an apartment to crash at, a hotel pool to swim at, or their small trailer. This has been her wish for however long she could remember, but she has one thing keeping it from her: her Mom. Nola's Mom Samantha, looks just like Nola, but they couldn't be more opposite. Nola wanted a few close friends and a home to live, meanwhile Sam wants to be everyone's friend, and meet the whole world. Sammy had loud opinions, meanwhile Nola was quiet with her words. There was many more differences, but perhaps the most important was the truth. Nola craved the truth, sought after it. Sammy kept secrets, hid herself from everyone, so much so that Nola turned to truths for satisfaction. She kept a journal, not that she'd ever call it that. No, she called it "Nola's collection of truths", and this is how it begins.
