   Okay so let's start at the very beginning. Emma is currently no older than two years old her sisters Kira and lily are 15 and 5 when Emma's mother left Emma's father. So now it was just emma her mother and her older sisters. They had then flown out to Alaska where Emma's grandfather lived.

Emma's grandfather loved all his grandchildren but... emma, emma was special somehow... Emma's grandfather was a fisherman. But none of Emma's older sisters had any interest in fishing they said it was unnecessary and boring and gross. But that's not what emma thought of it.

Emma was about four now. Her mother couldn't handle it all so she left and started doing drugs. Emma's grandfather was now her legal guardian.

Harold took emma with him everywhere. He was Emma's hero... then one night emmas mother had decided it was time to put Emma in foster care. So O.C.S. came and took emma. At this point emma was at least 5 now. OC.S. had found a temporary home for emma, Emma's foster parents were great.

Every weekend there would be visitation with emma and her grandfather. He showed up every time. And talk to emma her also check up on her daily he got worried easily.

It only took 4 months for him to get FULL custody of emma. After that emma and her grandfather would go everywhere and do everything together. He'd tell her stories and drive her to school every day.....

He was the only father figure she had ever known, he was there for her when no one else was, he'd never invalidate her feelings, whenever she was around him a smile always appeared in her face, he was the only person on earth who she felt she could trust with her life.

One day came along... it was fishing derby!! It was something emma and her grandfather would do every year so ofcourse they got tickets to Juneau salmon derby. But little did 13 year old Emma know that this would be her last fishing derby with her grandfather......

They did amazing in the derby that year, there names were on the radio and news!!! Emma was so happy.

A month later

It was a Friday night, they were watching a movie when Emma's grandfather had a heart attac Emma was crying and screaming she went to tell their neighbor and the neighbors called 911. But when they got there it was too late he was gone...

So many tears flooded Emms face it was hard for her to see, as they carried his body away into the ambulance Emma's neighbor was trying to calm her down. But there was no calming her down at this point, she was crying intensely as she was shaking her head saying "NO NO NO n-no no this cant be happening.

Emma was trying not to break but it was so hard for her he was her hero, her bestfriend he was her everything she had nowhere to go. no one, no one to cry to nobody to talk to, she had no one. As the funeral was ending Emma's face was drowned in tears and after everyone left she went to his casket and said "goodbyes are never forever" " see you soon"
