Amir is a ordinary boy just like any other. He had a stutter.
He was born in Nigeria, No.55 hausawa baworoad street and he spent the most of his life there.

In Nigeria stuttering wasn't quite an issue as many people did not know what it was.

Amir always got bullied for his stutter ever since he was 6,

There where times he'd wake up and just not say anything at all, to anyone.
He'd sit around and stay quiet wondering how it all happened.

He would always remember the first time he stuttered was on a morning young amir was set for school had his lunch box and everything.

He was just about having breakfast when he approached his parents to greet them good morning and he blocked out for minutes without saying anything, he struggled to get the words out but failed.

Though at the time young amir didn't
Give it a second thought and just assumed it was just one of those days,
Well it was, he went to school only to find out he had lost total speech fluency.

In a class of 35, the teacher looked over to amir who was distracted by his friends and then the teacher asked
"Boy!, You over there". Pointing to amir.
"M-me?". Amir points at himself to clarify.
"Yes, get up and answer this question".
She writes the equation on the board.
"So can you sovle it?".
"Y-yes i-i-iii-its".
Amir pauses he looks down at his desk and exhales heavily.
Then he was at it again.
"I-its".
"What's wrong you don't know the answer".
"N-no it's just it...".
"Okay that's okay sit down next time just pay attention, because the next time i ask you a question and you don't know you'll be in trouble".
Amir sat down feeling depressed and glum as he has no idea what just have to him.
He didn't think much of it tho, it was now break. And amir was out with his peers playing as usual what a normal day.
Then all of a sudden this girl shows up. She taps amir on the shoulder,
"Hello can you tell me where the toilet is?".
"Y-y-yes".
He sensed sensed potential blocks in his speech and quickly pointed at the toilet.
Using signs to guide her, she looked at him in confusion wondering if he was deaf and dumb, but then again she asked him a question and he said yes.
Amir was now worried because at first he thought whatever happened in that class with the teacher was probably normal, now his mates?.
After school he waited a bit till his driver came along to pick him up
"Amir! What have you been doing?".
"Uhh... I w-was".
Again he was struggling to talk. He sighed and just told him it was nothing. Gradually he kept avoiding long answers untill it became a habit.

You remember how i told you he'd just wake up and talk to no one?.
Well it wasn't long after this.

Tho he was a quite kid, Amir had always been able to make friends and playing and stuff,
he was an introvert But ever since the day he began having troubles with talking he became distant.

There was this one morning he woke up and talked to no one, he tried to avoid greeting his parents good morning and just went straight to eat breakfast.

For a while he believed he was cursed he'd pray to God and ask him why this had happened to him.

Growing up in a religious/Islamic community. Amir had heard alot of stories about the wonders of God and what he had done over the years.
S

o for Amir God was a great source of confidence.

It was quite difficult for a kid to be different in the society.
A normal kid and then all of a sudden boom!, Instant freak.

Well that's pretty much me.
