"Come on Amber you are going to be late for school!" My mom yelled at me to get up from my warm and comfortable bed. I looked at my clock 7:20! I ran down stairs and say that my mom made pancakes with bacon. I greeted my mom and gave her a kiss on the check and waved my hand to my brother who pretended not to see me do so. "Amber you're suitcases are in the car already" explained my mom. "Oh okay thanks!" I replied happily. I sat down in the wooden chair and started stuffing my mouth with bacon and pancakes. Today was the day our class and two other classes go to Washington D.C ,I was so excited because I was saving all the money I earned as a part-time cashier in my local grocery store. I finally finished stuffing my face in pancakes and ran to the bathroom. I looked at myself in the mirror and saw how ugly I look when I wake up, I quickly washed my face, brushed my teeth and applied a little make-up on to my lids of my eyes to my once barren face. I ran all the way upstairs to my room and threw on some clothes. I finally put some perfume on and deodorant. I hugged my brother and kissed my dad goodbye, I'm going to miss them a lot.My mom was already waiting for me in my car and she drove me to school. I saw my house go farther and farther and I said to myself good bye home.
