Chapter One

Y/N'S POV:

It was the day. Where I officially joined a group I have loved for all those years I've watched the variety show. Running Man. I was so excited yet nervous. The running man members doesn't know they're going to get a new member. It was a surprised. A surprise anyone would want to be in my place. I made sure I was dressed perfectly. Not too nice but not too messy either. Just neutral. I sprayed some perfume on myself and went out the house getting ready to go to the set. Yes. I do have someone I admire. But I'll keep it to myself as I don't want to have any rumours going around social media..

Jong Kook's POV:

It was just a day same as others. We never knew what was up for us. I somehow had a weird feeling as if I should be wearing something nice and I should smell good today. It was my instincts. I always trust them. And I will this time too. I wore my black shirt and long black pants. I sprayed men cologne on me and got to the set as usual like every other days. I drove in my car while listening to Turbo's songs. I miss those days. ( 30 mins later )  I was at the set quite earlier than usual. Strangely when I arrived, PD Cheol Min looked anxious and he told me to wait in another room instead of where all of us should've actually waited. I looked at him and observed his movements. After a few seconds, I let it go and waited at the other waiting room. I wondered. Even if he had a bad or good surprise, he never looked so anxious. Suddenly I smell women's perfume. It was really strange because I know very well what So Min and Ji Hyo's perfume smell like. Maybe we have a visitor which is normal. So I stopped thinking too much and waited until the crew told me to go to where we were supposed to wait at.

Recording Running Man Time:

Jae suk, Kwang soo, So min, Se chan , Ji hyo, HaHa, Seok Jin and I gathered. We greeted the viewers and started our morning by joking around. Suddenly, Jae Suk told us what happened this morning. " I actually arrived early this morning but Cheol Min told me to wait at another waiting room instead of here. I also smell a female's perfume walked by my room. Ji Hyo, So min. Was it yours? " They all got shocked while I wait for the ladies to answer. They shook their head while looking very shocked. I stepped up and said " Actually I also came early and Cheol Min told me to wait at the other waiting room. He looked so anxious when he saw me and I also smell a female a perfume. I think it was a raspberry scent. Im very sure it was neither So min's or Ji Hyo's because they never use raspberry perfume". Jae Suk looked and analyzes me. " But Jong Kook. Why are you so dressed up? Do you know what's happening today or are you just repeating what I said because you don't want to look suspicious?" Jae Suk asked me suspiciously. " Are you a fool? If I didn't want to look suspicious, how do I know the ladies' scent then? " I said furiously. " Okay I'm sorry. But when you called me a fool that really hurts ". We all start laughing endlessly. " We never told you what's going to happen today but you're going to find out. There will be a new running man member and you will have to close your eyes while the newbie comes in. The newbie will try to talk while you're still closing your eyes just for fun " Cheol Min interrupted us. " Are you trying to make us look like a fool closing our eyes while the newbie talks " Kwang Soo said being annoyed.

Y/N's POV:

I was waiting at the back and I could hear all their conversations. I was shocked when Jong Kook and Jae Suk said that they smell me and knows that I might be visiting them. I took a deep breath and tell myself not to mess things up. My cameraman came to me telling me that we're ready. I slowly went in while I see them closing their eyes. I wanted to laugh so badly at Kwang Soo's comment earlier but I resisted. " Hello there guys! " I said politely. Everyone started shouting and guessing who I was. But I wasn't famous or anything so I was sure they wouldn't know who I was. " Ya! wasn't this the scent from earlier? I told you guys! Raspberry perfume scented!! " Jong Kook exclaimed. I smiled and waited patiently for Cheol Min to inform them they are able to open their eyes. Cheol Min told them to open their eyes in the count of three. 1...2....3.....!! Bam! they opened their eyes. I never knew why. But my eyes met Jong Kook's. I stared at him in awe. He looked charming and attractive.. But I snapped myself and told myself not to embarrass myself.

Jong Kook's POV:

Our eyes met. There was her. Smiling politely at us. She wore simple clothes unlike any other ladies. Our eyes met. My heart was pumping. I've never felt this way. It was as if she took my breath away. I looked away and calmed down. Took a deep breath and continued with the show.

This episode was an episode on me. Things I like to do. They were all shocked but I was the happiest. I instructed that we will be playing Tug Of War and work out. But we were asked to decide what to have for breakfast. They all begged me to not force them eat/drink things like protein shakes etc. I gave them a chance and told them to eat whatever they want but make sure its not too heavy. All of us went to eat and start with the show. It was amazing how I saw Y/n was much more stronger than Ji Hyo. Ji Hyo got mad but she still couldn't defeat Y/n. It made her look attractive to me somehow. I shouldn't be thinking this. I should get done with the show and go home to rest.

The end of the episode

It was fun and tiring but I somehow managed to get through the day. Probably more tiring than usual because I won't stop thinking about Y/n. We somehow kept meeting each other's eyes and now I may have the heart for her. Weird. All those rumours about 'spartace' with Ji Hyo and I but I've never felt in love with Ji Hyo. While with Y/n, no rumours. No nothing. But I have a heart for her? No way. I should love my black furnitures more than her. I should sleep when I get back home. But suddenly. Y/n approached me. My heart started beating faster and faster. At first she didn't talk but smile. So I smiled back. Her sweet voice were asking me " Can I have your number? I already asked the other members but you. By the way, It was fun today. I really hope we can maybe work out together more :) ". " HAHA!! sure!!! My number is 12345678 " We had a short chat and we parted our ways. What is this feeling? I can't break my heart again....
