A/N Okay, so this is going to be a fun chapter. BTW this is Ben's bedroom. This is all my life. I love this book so much, so I might write a sequel to this! Let me know if you want a sequel or not. I hope you guys enjoy this chapter!
The hustle and bustle of the morning caffeine rush the next day helped keep her mind off a certain man with black hair and brown eyes. She had had a restless night, tossing and turning over their exchanged words. How he had called her as she ran away. The text messages he had sent. Especially the last one. It had reminded her of Chad.
'I'm so sorry.'
Rey jammed the blender container into the machine with added forcefulness. The whir of the blender was loud and it drowned out her inner thoughts. She went through the motions, dumping the contents of the blender into the awaiting cup and securing the proper lid lightly.
"Vanilla bean frappe!" She called to the waiting customers. A woman in a crisp business suit approached the counter and Rey handed the drink to her. The woman smiled and nodded her thanks, Rey weakly smiled. Issuing a sigh, she turned and reached for the next order to fulfill. (Your! Destiny! Sorry, I had to do it.)
A chai tea latte with soy milk and a orange danish.
She looked up to see the sea foam green eyes of Armitage Hux. "Good morning Rey." He said to her.
His tone was neutral yet polite, suggesting that perhaps he was aware of the tension that had occured between her and Ben.
"Good morning." Rey said, and reached for the wax paper as she removed a orange danish, the last one, from the pastry shelf.
"Doing anything over the weekend?"
"Work." Replied Rey.
"I see. How's your dog doing?"
"She isn't mine but she's sleeping quite a lot now."
"Animals."
"Mmm." Rey poured the soy milk and handed the chai tea with soy milk and the wax paper parcel to him.
"Thank you Rey. I'll see you later then."
The bell tinkled as he walked out. She just remembered that it would be awkward the next time he came in because Ben worked with him. She sighed and moved on to the next order.
Around noon, Rose came in for her mid day shift.
"Hey Rey!" Rose said, her apron already on.
"Rose. Hey."
"Thanks again for covering me this weekend, Rey."
"No problem. I know you've been wanting to see 21 pilots for a while now."
"Me and Paige have been wanting to see them for-evverrrrrrr. Ooh, maybe a cute guy will dance with me."
"Speaking of guys, remember the red head that comes in 3 times a week and orders the same exact thing?"
Rose gave a little gasp.
"The five dolla holla?"
"What?"
"That's my nickname for him. He always leaves 5 dollars as a tip when I'm around."
"Anyway, I ran into him yesterday. Turns out he works with Ben. AND... He asked about you."
"Shut. Up! You're joking right?"
"REY!" Came a shrill voice from the back. Maz. "Are you two still talking?" "Yeah." "Rey, I need you to take your lunch break." "Okay, Maz."

RomanceSo because my other account is broken, I'm taking this story back to life. This one is one of my favorites. Ever. This one was so sweet to write, and at some times, made me cry myself.
