CHAPTER TWELVE: More Past?

LESLEY

Where the heck is he taking me? We keep walking and walking at a straight direction. Its taking forever! "May I ask where are we going?". I asked, very annoyed.

"We're here." Oh, He replied so I look at where Gusion was staring at. Wow! The view was really beautiful, indeed. "Did you like it..?" He asked nervously. "Yeah, It looks amazing!". I said amusingly. Staring at a glowing fairy lights and a picnic? beside a waterfall.

"This is where I go if I need some space to think.". Is he sad? Why is his tone sad and at the same time mad? Was it about earlier?

"Is that so.. is something wrong..?". I asked curiously. "N-no. Here come sit down and eat." I did as he says. He gave me a sandwich with all of my favorite combination! "How did you know this was my favorite combination?!". Not to be exaggerated but its a weird combination to be honest.

"You actually have weird taste buds.". He said teasingly. I rolled my eyes, I suddenly want something to drink. "He--". We said in unison. "Ah you can go first.". He said while he was thinking about something made him nervous.

"Did you also bring some water?". I asked and he instantly nodded at me, alright. "Do you have anything to say..?". I asked him curiously. He put away this nervous look of his and put on a seeious face.

"Can I tell about my problem earlier? With her.". Did he meant for Guinevere? "What about her? It's okay, you don't have to tell me everything.". I explained to make him at ease. "I have to let this out, will you?". He then send me a genuinely smile.

"Alright, I'll listen to you.". I replied. "Well...".

FLASHBACK

Why is she here again? She's really annoying these past few weeks. "What is it Gwen?". I asked her, she was looking all sad. Did her Dad scold at her again or was it because of me? "Do you.. not like me at all..?". She was starting to cry but she held it in.

She was raised in a strict and very spoiled by her parents that made her very emotional at times. I admit, we were good friends back then until a sudden marraige occurs.

"I used to like you..as friend, Can you move on..?". She just smiled, a fake one, I can tell. "I can't! I Love you! You always know that! Why would you even suddenly in Love with a random girl?!". She is not just random! I have my reasons.. ugh this id losing my mind.

Few minutes Later...

LESLEY

So thats why... they used to be friends, huh. "I have my reasons, so please..". He looks upset about that much. "Its fine, I can wait.". I reassure him. We finished our training and went to fetch my brother from the forest.

"Why do I feel like, I'm about to have deja vu.". He suddenly stopped and looked at me. "I also feel it too.". I replied. Well this weird for us both to feel. I saw Harley walking towards us, smiling like a weirdo too. "You guys are late!" he yelled as I poke his cheek harshly.

"We already know that.". Gusion spoke. "Granger guid Ms. Gwen out, we are currently staying at his house.". Gwen? Guinevere? What was she doing here? I mean I have no problem at her, just why. "May I ask why Gwen was here?". Gusion asked beside me.

"I just heard her about running away? I don't really know.". My brother tip toed to me. "I have something very important to say, sis!". I looked at him confusingly.

"Let me borrow my sister.". Harley demands Gusion that made him nod quickly. Harley and I went nearby back of Granger's house.

"What do you want to say?". I asked him curiously. "I think I have crush, sis!". Oh, seriously? "Should'nt that be so obvious.". I said to him, teasingly. He rarely blush around Nana, I can't see why not he has a crush on her.

"Was it?! I mean, I dont know..". I pat his heady softly. "Grow up before thinking about these things.". He's to young to ask some advice about liking about someone.

"I'm tired. Are you done?". I asked and he smiled and nods at me. We both headed towards the house and suprisingly the door opened before we would about to. "Oh you guys are back...". Gusion said after he looked away.

"Going somewhere?". I asked. He shrug his shoulders and made a space for us to go through inside. I looked around and the other three were chatting a lot. "Hey Harley! Come and have chat with us!". Lylia said as soon she saw my brother.

"This house is a bit more him, don't you think?". Making this awkward atmosphere gone. "I could'nt agree more.". He said agreed with me. "..Have you thought about it..?". "What was that?". I could not hear him that he was like whispering about something.

"I mean, Thinking what to do about the mission?". He said in a awkward tone. "Still thinking, Since its very corrupted we have to be careful while they are disguising their selves.". I heard the people did those tricks to the people living quiet there.

"Not bad I suppose.". "What do you mean by that?". I asked. "Wanna check them out, tomorrow?". He said that made amuse. I mean sure but is'nt dangerous?! Ugh, whatever. "Sure, I'm curious about it.". I replied with an excuse.

"I'm back!!". We heard someone at the door. Granger seems to be back from walking Guinevere home. Gusion opened the door for him. "What the-". "I invited them!". Nana lied. Of course not, We actually invited ourselves.

"Still I don't even know this guy.". Granger smirking at Gusion while he's giving death glares back at him. "Stop acting like a child, both of you.". I said chuckling.

"Whatever. Lesley your brother was having a stomach problem, Did you check on him?". Stomach?! I immediately went to see Harley if there was an actual problem.

GUSION

This guy is up to something. Harley looks fine to me. "Your thinking if I'm up to something, don't you?". He really suits with that kind of glaring. "Hey if you trying to-" "I have to show..". We both look at each other and laugh, very I mean VERY sarcastically.

"Continue about you have to say.". I said breaking our awkward atmosphere. He sighed and took something from his pocket. It was a piece of an amulet and it seems very familiar... but I forgot when did I saw it. "It looks familiar." I said without hesitation. I saw him smirk that made me kinda pissed. "Your that stubborn kid when we were young, right?". All of what words he just said, came all over my head.

My Mom found it on the forest and it she gave me this as a present, suddenly, I went to the pond nearby the house. While I was looking at the gift that Mom gave was stolen by a kid who has the same age as me back then.. "That kid was you?" I asked very seriously. "Do you know why I snatch it from you?" he actually says something really serious.

I nodded slowly. "It was my Mom's amulet. A.. my Foster Mother gave me this as a memory before she was killed by your Mage culture, *ssh*le." he explained that made me very pissed. Although I also hated this mage culture of ours but how would I know if its his?!

"Your Father just killed my harmless Mother.". I give no damn about my Father, he just treats me like a himself, a very selfish guy.

"Guys? Why do I feel somethings about to happend within you two?". We both looked at Lesley who was licking a lollipop. Why do I feel weird about thinking that, wtf.
