Y/n is currently enjoying the hot weather that plagues Tokyo. Wearing anything suit-related is suicidal in such heat, Y/n opted for a more summer-oriented outfit. Like Ryuji, Y/n wore a red tank top that is well-fitted like a wifebeater. Wearing faded white jeans with various ripped holes throughout, with shoes that matched, it did little to stem the humidity.
Coming back from a shopping trip for more refreshments in his office for his own side business; Kirin Finance. Even the Thirteenth Chairman needs to earn his keep in some fashion or another and this side business of his helps gain good standing among the general population in Tokyo for now. A bag filled with water bottles and soda cans; Y/n cracked one open to keep himself hydrated in the hot heat as he kept walking towards the train station in Shibuya.
"I should probably grab some lunch before I head back..." Y/n then glanced over at the restaurants that were currently available. He wanted to skip fast food places like Big Bang Burger, to keep his body fit and to not buy into Okumura Foods since he refuses to accept them on principles of turning down Haru's father. This did not leave him with appetizing options since he would have to travel farther from his office, also known as his home, and it was not the right time for food stands to come out. "I'll see if I can't snag a bento at the train station."
"Y/n?" He heard a female voice behind him.
"Haru-chan?" Y/n a bit surprised to see someone on his refreshment run. "Whatcha doin?"
"I was just getting some fresh air after meeting with my fiancé." Y/n seemed surprised she had one already. Though, by her voice, it was not exactly her call to make.
"Fiancé?" Y/n repeated. "Hold on, you're headed home right?" Haru nodded her head "yes". "How about you fill me in on the details at the station? We got all day."
Following his lead, Haru sat on a bench with Y/n's bag of water and soda as the man in question got himself a tonkatsu sandwich. "Sorry about that, been starving ever since I left my office. So, fiancé?"
"Right." Haru took a second to gather her thoughts as coherently as she could. "After you refused my father's offer, it seemed like word got around about his meeting with you. One by one, people turned him down because you did. It led to where I am now, as my father finally got someone to partner up with him as long as I'm engaged to his son; Sugimura."
Y/n chuckled a little bit, mainly because a full laugh would have made him choke on his food. "Sugs?"
"You two know each other?"
"I don't exactly hold the guy or his family in high regard." Y/n commented. "He insulted the people I look up to, the people that taught me everything, by saying that only children believe in dragons." Y/n then wiped his mouth clean of crumbs. "Sugimura's blasphemous remarks aside, maybe I should've accepted your father's offer. Least you'd be with me."
"It's fine." Haru shrugging off the implications of that last part. "Besides, if you accepted, maybe I wouldn't be myself around you like I am now. I like it better if you stuck to your morals." She then pulled out her own phone. "Besides, I always have you in my contacts if Sugimura does try and pull something."
