Fuck this charade, enough is enough, but no
Stick around even if it's just for the temporary showThe next morning, Asuna finds herself in her bed. She was confused at first, but then she realized one of her co-workers must've brought her home.
She honestly couldn't remember anything past the getting drunk part, so she decided to ignore it. She looked fine and her clothes were still in tact, so everything should be fine.
Asuna rolls over to the side of the bed, grabbing her phone only to realize that it was 11 am, which had meant she slept in. That also meant that Yui would be here in an hour.
Asuna stands up, heading to first go take a shower. She gets dressed after that, and it seems like she does just on time.
She heads to the door, a smile on her face as she sees her daughter.
"Mommy!" Yui yells. Asuna opens her arms wide, wrapping them around the girl as they come into contact. "Hey Yui," she says softly into her daughters hair before picking her up and placing her on her hip.
"Thanks for dropping her off," Asuna says, finally looking up at Kazuto, who was standing there.
"It's no problem. I'll come pick her next week." He says, leaving before saying his goodbyes to Yui.
"Did you have fun at your dads?" Asuna asks, grabbing Yui's things to put them back into her room.
"Yeah, well...kind've," Yui says.
This peaks Asuna's interests, and she raises a brow. "Kind've?" She questions curiously.
"Daddy was fine...but he had that girl over. Shino," Yui says.
"Is something wrong with her...?" Asuna asks. She didn't like Shino, and she sure the main reason was because Kirito was with her now. Still, for Kirito to date her, she couldn't be that bad of a girlfriend could she?
"Ever since my dream I've been scared of her. Not only that, she gets in the way of me and daddy's time," Yui says followed by a pout.
Asuna ruffles her daughters hair. "I'll talk to Kirito about it okay? And I'm sure if you asked him yourself he would limit his time with her around you aswell."
"Really?" She asks. "Really," Asuna nods, picking her daughter up and placing her on her hip. "Now let's go make lunch," Asuna smiles.
"Mommy..." Yui starts once their both eating.
"I was wondering if you'll find someone,"
"F-find someone...?" Asuna asks, a small blush creeping up on her face.
"Yeah, like how daddy has a different girlfriend,"
Asuna was aware that her daughter was no dummy...but still, for her to notice this? She paid attention a bit too much.
"I'm...not really into that right now," Asuna says truthfully. Honestky, she didn't know if she'd ever find somebody else. She had Yui and a good job, life was perfectly fine.
