You pulled the car onto a secluded dirt road that led off an open back road. The path's right side ran along a cornfield while the other ran next to an open cloverfield. Fuller looked around with a scoff.

Lewis learned over the seat and looked at you. "You sure this is the place?" Your hands gripped the steering wheel as you nodded. "This is where he said." Lewis slowly sat back as both of them surveyed the scene.

You drove a bit further before stopping the car and pulling the keys. You gave a quick sigh before stepping out of the car, both boys following your lead.

The night air was cold. You could vaguely see your breath against the darkness. The moonlight shone down against the field, illuminating it. You looked around carefully, walking slowly to the front of the car.

Fuller shoved his hands into his pockets and huffed. "Where the hell is this guy?" You paused and looked around. "I...I dont know." You all sat, looking around before Lewis paused. "Do you hear that?"

You all looked at each other for a moment. Very distantly there was a deep rumbling. It was slowly getting louder. You all turned around and squinted into the darkness. You clenched your jaw as you saw the headlights of the truck illuminate behind the car. The truck was moving much faster than you were comfortable with.

Fuller raised his hand at the truck. "Hello." Fuller shifted his weight as the truck continued to get closer but kept his hand up. "Hi, uhh-" Lewis looked over and back quickly. "He's not slowing down." Fuller muttered, anxious. "Hes not gonna stop..."

You stared into the on coming truck. "What's he doing?" Fuller repeated himself again. "Hes not gonna stop. Hes not gonna stop!" Lewis yelled to you. "Hes not slowing down!" The truck roared around the car and Fuller screamed. "RUN, GO!"

He pushed you and took off to the left, running into the cornfield. Lewis ran ahead of you and your heart dropped as you heard the trucks horn blaring behind you as it plowed straight through the rows of corn.

You sprinted as hard as you could, pushing stalks out of your face as you went. Fuller screamed behind you. "RUN, RUN, RUN!"

From behind, you could hear the diesel engine roaring as it followed behind, gaining on you as it went. You flung yourself threw the rows, heart racing. Fuller planted behind you and you were suddenly caught in Lewis's arms as he stopped and turned. "Wait, wait, wait."

You turned as well, realizing that the noise from the truck was gone. You could just see the top bar of lights over the corn. You breathed hard, watching. Fuller sat his hands on his knees, winded. "What the hell is he doing?"

You all three jumped as a spotlight turned on. You and Fuller ducked under the rows. Lewis looked up a bit, watching as he scanned over the feild. When the spotlight came close, lewis ducked as well, watching.

The diesel whined again, and your heart dropped as the air let loose from the breaks. It was coming at you again. Lewis sat up from his crouched position and waved at you, starting to run again. "Let's go! Let's go!" Fuller and you stumbled to your feet, racing after lewis again. "Let's go! C'mon!"

The trucks lights caught up faster this time, both Lewis and Fuller screaming to move. "RUN, RUN!" Stalks whipped at your face and you soon became aware of the headlights that were right behind you.

Lewis stumbled out into a section that had been cleared, and took off down it. Shouts from Fuller behind you only made it more apparent how close the truck had gotten. It was almost close enough for Fuller to touch. Suddenly lewis dropped to the ground, and you followed, seeing the ditch that now cut the road in two.

Fuller was fast to lie down behind you and in good time, as you felt the harsh breeze as the truck passed over you. Its breaks were hard on your ears and you all climbed up, running to either side of the ditch. Fuller ran to the left side, you and Lewis ran to the right.

You darted further in, and Fuller watched in horror as the truck backed up and whirled in the direction you and Lewis had gone.

It wasnt long before the headlights hit your back and Lewis was screaming at you to move again. Your legs burned and it was becoming harder to keep pace. You kept going until Lewis turned to you. "Dive, quick!" Without a second thought, you flung yourself to the left, rolling in the dirt and looking up to see the truck pass you.

Lewis kept running and the truck kept going a few feet before it came to an abrupt stop. Lewis stumbled and looked back, merely jogging at this point. "Y/n?!" The trucks spotlight came on again, searching for movement. Lewis stopped, clutching a corn stalk and ducked, panting.

You slowly crawled away, still facing this truck. You looked around for Lewis, hearing him call to you but too afraid to call back. You were too close to the truck.

Chills ran down you as static emerged from the truck. Distorted voices came through for moments until a song started playing. It was like on of those old 50's songs you'd hear being played during a slow dance.

You looked up at the truck and started moving faster, careful not to hit any of the stalks. You froze as you heard the trucks door open. "Lewis!" You tried to call for him but your voice came out barely over a hoarse whisper.

Tears threatened to spill as you could hear the soft crunching of the ground under heavy feet.

Fuller looked up, squinting at the trucks spot. He crouched down a bit and continued towards the truck moving faster than he was before.

Lewis waited a moment before he started moving as well, watching as he went around the front of the truck. "Y/n?!" His voice was much softer now as he looked around, searching for movement.

You crawled forward slightly, trying not to make sound. Tears rolled down your face as you tried to call out again. "Lewis!" Your throat was dry and ached from the restraint of trying not to cry.

The footsteps stood out in the silence apart from the radio. You sat up a bit, peeking through the stalks at the truck. "Lewis..." You heard the footsteps starting to move around you now, almost circling. "Lewis!" Your throat tightened even more and your cry came out in a higher pitch.

Lewis crept forward, scanning the area. "Y/n?" Your head shot forward, hearing his voice. You gave a sigh and stood up more. Taking a step forward, you screamed as an arm wrapped itself around your waist and a hand flew over your mouth, dragging you backwards.
