Our Love

Chapter 1

"Emily, wake up!" I hear my mom yell from the kitchen
"I'm up" I yell to her. Today was my first day of grade 12 and my last year at high school
"This year will be your best" I tell myself. I walk over to my dresser to find something to wear. Earlier in the summer My best friend of all time Bailey and I Went on a major shopping spree and bought so many outfits I ran out of room in my dresser. It was very hard but I finally decided on a black crop top and a pink skater skirt. I curled my hair and did my usual makeup. I wore gold sparkly flats and I did my nails a pink colour the night before. I said my goodbyes to my parents and left. I got on the bus and took a seat next to Bailey.
"Hey" I said
"Hey" She said
We talked the whole way to school and when we got to school we met up with the jacks and Sam
"Hey Beautiful ". Said Jack G to Bailey Giving her a kiss on the cheek. ( they have been dating for two years now)
"So romantic" sam says wiggling his eye brows
"Hey Bailey wanna go on a date tonight?" Asks Gilinsky
"We gotta go to class, bye guys" Bailey says and we leave.
"Ok so I know we still have 20 minutes but the guys don't ever pay attention to the time, but I wanted to talk to you." Said Bailey
"You and Sam should come with us because let's be real, it's pretty obvious you like him and he likes you." Said Bailey
"We're just friends and, so what if I like him he doesn't like me and I have to accept that."
"But he does like you." said Bailey
"No, no he doesn't and if you will excuse me I have to go get my math book from my locker, you coming?"
" yup" said Bailey
"So tonight we sh-" I say getting interrupted by someone running into me in the hall way"
"I'm sorry, my name is Jeff I'm new here"
"That's fine no hard feelings and my name is Emily."
"What grade are you in Emily?" Asks Jeff
"12" I say
And you Jeff?" I ask
"12 as well" he says.
"I'm going to a party tonight, would you wanna come?" Asks Jeff
"I would love to thank you".
"I will pick you up at 8" says Jeff.
I finish giving him my address and by the time I was done it was almost class.
"Noooo, you can't go out with him, you have to go out with Sam. You and Sam are perfect for each other and you don't know a thing about Jeff. He could be a serial killer but you are so distracted by his looks you don't care." Says Bailey
"Would you stop, he's not a serial killer and How many times do I have to tell you Sam doesn't like me and besides, even if he does, which he doesn't, he has never had the courage to ask me out like a real gentleman". I said
"Well that's fine, but Me and Gilinsky are coming and I'm sure Sam and Johnson will too". Said Bailey
"You don't have to treat me like I'm a baby."
"Well I am so deal with it". Said Bailey.
The day seems to go by really slow but soon enough it was over.
