"Ugh I'm so sick of working at a cat cafe Jeongin, I don't even like cats!! I like dogs!! If only they didnt pay me so well and the place wasnt so close to my apartment!" Seungmin whined to Jeongin, as the youngest was sipping his drink. "Do I really have to hear you complain to me daily Seungmin, boohoo deal with it, you'd think you would get used to cats by now." Jeongin replied playfully, "I already have to deal with my boyfriend Changbin he's so loud."
      Seungmin ignored Jeongin clowning him.
"I have a shift in twenty minutes Imma start heading out, bye Innie go have fun with your boyfriend or something!!" Seungmin bid farewell and headed out to the cat cafe.
      Seungmin was waiting at the counter for customers to arrive like he usually does, when he finally heard the sound of a bell, signalling the entrance door opening. "Welcome!!" Seungmin exclaimed, bringing his lips up to form a smile. However, his smile dropped as soon as he saw the male standing infront of him. He was a new customer that he's never once seen before in his life. The man had brown hair with bangs parting at the middle, showing off his forehead. He was wearing black jeans that showed off his leg structure, especially his thighs. His plump lips shined, making it evident that he was wearing lip gloss of some kind. Their was a sparkle in his eyes, Seungmin could tell the customer was filled with joy. The customer was so unbelievably beautiful in Seungmin's eyes. Seungmin couldn't believe who he was staring at was real.
       "Hello, I would like to order a coffee and a piece of strawberry cake," The ethereal male ordered. "Sure thing, can I please get your name?" Seungmin asked, of course to put his name on his order and not because he was curious. "It's Minho!" he exclaimed. "I'll call you when your order is ready," Seungmin replied.
As Seungmin was handing Minho his drink, their fingers brushed against each other. It usually wouldn't be a big deal for Seungmin, but this time it made his heart jump, causing him to pull his hand back swiftly. Minho seemed to have noticed Seungmin's litle reaction and smirked. "Thank you, Seungmin." Minho said, moving his attention from Seungmin's name tag directly to his eyes. Minho walked away, his smirk not leaving his face.
Seungmin was keeping an eye on the cats, when he noticed Minho struggling to reach for a cat toy due to his lack of height. Seungmin went across to Minho and reached for the toy, hovering over Minho. Minho could feel Seungmin subtly brush against his figure for a second before pulling back once he got ahold of the toy. "Were you trying to get this?" Seungmin asked, handing over the toy. "Y-yes thank you," Minho replied.
There was an awkward silence for about five seconds, that just involved them staring at each other. Minho was the one to break the silence by saying, "Well thank you!" He then walked off to the cats, leaving Seungmin to reflect on their awkwardness on his own.
Seungmin couldn't take his eyes off of Minho the whole time he was there. There was just something about his smile that he loved. He looked so happy around cats. "If cats are the cause of such a beautiful smile, then maybe cats aren't so bad after all," Seungmin thought to himself.
     Near the end of his shift, he moved from the counter as there were no customer's that hadn't ordered. Seungmin approached one of the cats that were lying down and began to stroke them gently. "Woah is Seungmin, the dog lover playing with CATS?!?" His co-worker teased. "Yea I guess," Seungmin replied with a smile on his face.
Once his shift was over, he walked to a supermarket. He couldn't help but hope that Minho would visit again. He could watch him smile all day.
While searching for ramen, he walked past the pets area. He thought his eyes were deceiving him when he spotted Minho looking at cat food. "What do I do? What do I do? Do I run? Do I say hi? Do I leave?" Seungmin was thinking to himself in panick. He finally snapped out of it when a figure stood in front of Seungmin.
"Hello Seungmin, I can't believe we bumped into each other here!!" Minho exclaimed, smiling at Seungmin.
"H-hello Minho, what a coincidence haha!" Seungmin replied, a smile creeping onto his face, "Are you buying cat food? Do you have cats?"
Minho's facial expression brightened at the mention of his cats. "Yes I do!! I have three, their names are Soonie, Doongie and Dori!!"
"Oh, that's cool!!" Seungmin replied dully.
"You don't seem interested, even at work you dont seem interested in cats, why is that?" Minho asked while frowning.
"Oh you noticed? I just dont really like cats I'm more of a dog lover." Seungmin answered.
"YOU WORK AT A CAT CAFE BUT DON'T LIKE CATS ?!?" Minho borderline screamed, his mouth widening, "How unusual!"
"Yea I get that a lot," Seungmin replied looking down. "Maybe you'll change your mind if you see my cats!! Why don't you come over sometime to see my amazingly cute cats?" Minho asked.
Seungmin's mouth laid agape in utter shock, before he shut it tight after realising what he was doing and how he must have looked. "Sure, does this make us friends?" Seungmin asked. "Of course!! Let's exchange numbers!" Minho exclaimed, the sparkle in his eyes evident like earlier when he saw the cats.
"See you Seungmin! I hope we can see each other soon!" Minho waved and fled, leaving Seungmin to take in everything he just experienced. Seungmin's mind screamed at him in excitement and confusion, happy about being able to get closer to Minho. While Minho on the other hand, was walking away cheerfully, smiling to himself.
