This story is based in India and will focus more on Indian modern history and the tension during the fight for Independence. This book will only be focussing on the First War of Independence of 1857.
But before starting anything, I would like to emphasise on certain points:
1) I do not intend any offence to people of any caste, creed, nationality, religion, region, gender and ethnicity.
2) The story is fictional, well mostly so please don't get triggered by any incident that may hurt your beliefs.
3) I have taken the liberty of using the names of the actual Princely State and the King of that State. But there is no account of him having a niece.
4) I will do as much research as possible before writing this book as it focuses on a very sensitive period of Indian history but do keep in mind that this book is more of a romantic historical fiction. It focuses more on the feelings of the individuals than the historical events.
5) But that doesn't mean that I won't be stating the events for they are monumental in shaping the thought process and environment of the protagonists.
