MANIK'S POV
It was a bright sunny morning that woke me up from my beautiful sleep. I had my day lined up with work so I got freshened, dressed and checked my phone for any messages. Well there was one from the kitchen about our joint or should i say Gaint breakfast and one from office about the formal board meeting today. I made my way towards the elevator and went towards the huge dining hall which was already full. Oops looks like I'm late. I wished everyone and took my seat. Nandini also came running with her heels in her hand.

Nandini(shouts): Bhai..........

I got scared. It was sudden. I heard laughter i turned to see Cabir, Anirudh and Karthik laughing their guts out.

Manik: what did you guys do??

I knew they had done something.

Cabir: well we might have locked all the elevators from Murthy Block to the dining hall i guess.....

He was getting intimidated by her stares by the end of his confession.
It was my turn to control my laughter. Yesterday we deliberately let her sleep very late and now she woke up late. It was done to refrain her from thinking about her phobia or the uneventful things that happened. Well it was Cabir's plan.
Navya dragged her to one chair and made her sit. She gave her water and finally Nandini relaxed.

Nandini: don't do that I got scared.

She muttered in a tired frightened low voice to no one in particular. I felt bad we should have thought of the consequences. Anirudh got up and went near the refrigerator and got an ice-cream sundae. I grinned thinking about her craze for icecream. Even after so many years and she changing so much her love for junk or cupcakes and ice-creams for that matter never changed. She does hide her cravings and look controlled but I can see it in her eyes. Like who eats icecream in the morning??? She can eat any time of the day. Immediately her eyes lit up when he gave it to her. It's their way of bribing her and cajoling her to escape.

Preeti: No jaanu after breakfast.

After so much chaos we finally had a great breakfast and I headed towards office. I went to the Malhotra head office first. It was my official first day after returning. I just went though all the ongoing projects and took a look at the office. Then I headed to the UGC head office for the board meeting. I went to the Malhotra floor to inform dad about my arrival and probably take a note of the how-to of the meeting but he wasn't there so I left to my cabin and then checked my attire just in case because even though UGC was started by us purely we wanted it to expand so we owned only 90% shares of the company and remaining 10% was owned by countless people because why not its a great opportunity to get exposure to the business world. My attire was perfect I decided to meet Cabir as there was still time. I went to downstairs as the Dhawans floor was down. We discussed about the meeting and went to the board room on time. Everyone was there except elders. They came after 10mins but dad and Rohit pa didn't come. They were the major shareholders with 9% shares each which is the highest. It does sound less but we own 90% shares and its divided. I'll explain the division of share some other day now the meeting is suppose to start. The hall is very huge and well equipped. I spotted all of them. Even the moms are here as they also have a role in the making of the company. The MDs also came and the meeting started.

Mr.Saxena: Mr.Malhotra I have a petition to file.

Raj Malhotra: Yes Mr.Saxena go ahead with your problem we'll definitely solve it.

Mr.Saxena(cunning smile): its been a while UGC started and now we are in a pretty good place going at a good speed. But... we need a full time CEO ?? How long will we have a head for each project and then so many people working as heads(eyeing all of the family)??
