Chapter 4: The Trip

Zoe's POV

Promising myself that I won't be upset today I stepped out of my home only to see Aryan standing at a distance I smiled and waved at him but he looked through me and walked away. Now this was the third time he did something like that, what the hell is wrong with him?

Shiv's POV

Sometimes we try to hold onto pain because with think the moment we forget the pain we will end up forgetting the person who gave us the pain the same thing was happening with Aryan. When he was with Zoe his pain was vanishing but when the pain starts to vanish he stated to panic because the pain was all he had left of Ananya and he feared that with his pain his love story will also vanish.

Aryan's POV

I got ready to go to my office 'just a few more days and you will forget all about her' I told myself as I walked outside only to see Zoe talking to Rashmi. Seeing her I walked back inside I stood near the door and listened to them.

"So it's this really important event I am going to be reading my book in front of all these people and I don't have anything to wear" Zoe said.

"Oh I know a great place, just give me a minute"

Rashmi said and walked into my room.

"Aryan do you mind dropping Zoe at Sweety's boutique on your way"

"I am running a bit late......"

"Oh come one she really needs our help"

"Okay fine just this once" I said even though I didn't want to.

The trip to the boutique was filled with awkward silence thankfully we reached the boutique soon. We stepped outside and walked inside the store and my eyes met with Sweety who looked really happy to see me as she came forward and gave me a hug.

"Hi" She said excited.

"Hello, this is Zoe she is my neighbor and she needed an outfit for an event"

"Ya okay, Riya....please take care of her" Sweety said to one of her employees and Zoe left with her.

"How are you Gogo it's been so damn long since I met you"

"I am holding up I have my job and then now Rashmi is also around so......"

"Let's have coffee this evening, what say"

"No I don't feel like it"

"Come on Gogo please, I feel responsible for all this and I think you hate me now"

"What....no what are you talking about it's not your fault ok, and I don't hate you"

"So coffee?"

"Okay fine, I can't believe I still can't say no to you even after all this while since our breakup"

I stepped inside the library and spotted Zoe sitting at our usual bench she was lost in her thoughts.

"What happened?" I asked.

"Aryan is avoiding me"

"Did you talk to him?"

"No"

"You don't wanna know why he is avoiding you?"

"Of course I wanna know"
