Why Can't We..?

Chapter 10

One week later 

"I can't believe you guys have to go home soon" I pouted as I curled up on the couch between Hoseok and Jimin, I leaned my head on Hoseok's shoulder and closed my eyes
"I know, I'm not ready to leave you guys" he said as he kissed the top of my head 
"Me either" Jimin chimed in as he wrapped his arms around me and nuzzled into my shoulder 
"Is this a cuddle session I wasn't invited to?" Tae asked as he walked into the living room 
"Of course you're invited, get in here" I smiled 

He walked over and decided to be extra as fuck as he climbed over the arm of the sofa and laid across the back on top of the couch, he put one arm on Hoseok's shoulder, one on my shoulder with his hand on my chest and then caged Jimin in with his legs making us all laugh 

"I call uncle Min's lap!" Ellie squealed
"Come on princess" he chuckled as he patted his lap, she climbed right up into his lap as he wrapped an arm around her 
"I want in on this" Jin said as he sat on Hoseok's lap, threw his legs over the arm of the couch and laid his head in my lap
"Now where do I go?" Jungkook pouted 
"Right here!" Ellie squealed as Jungkook squeezed his big ass between Jimin and the arm of the couch squeezing us all closer together making us laugh as we tried to fit everyone

"How the hell do I fit?" Namjoon asked 
"On top of me I guess" Tae offered with a chuckle, Namjoon laughed before he climbed on top of Tae and laid on his back 
"Get your junk off my ass!" Tae yelled as he started laughing making all of us crack up 
"I can't help it!" Namjoon defended 
"Everyone look at me and smile" Yoongi said as he held up his phone 
"Cheeeeeeese!" We all yelled as he took a photo and smiled, he grabbed his selfie stick and laid down on top of us 
"Family cuddle sesh!" Jimin yelled out as Yoongi took a selfie of all of us squished together and laughing our asses off.

Jin turned onto his side to get comfortable which put his face right in my lap facing my stomach, I had to fight the urge to blush as we all laid there together talking, I didn't realize that I had started mindlessly running my fingers through Jin's hair until I stopped and he whined and put my hand back on his head making me laugh before continuing to massage his scalp and play with his hair. 

"Did you figure out what you're going to do about moving?" Yoongi asked Jin as we were all sitting at the table eating 
"Yeah, I got my money back for the ticket home, mom is gonna ship me my stuff. You figure I already brought almost all of my necessities so anything else I'll be able to manage without for a while" 
Yoongi nodded "that's good. You better take care of my girls for me" he smiled
"I will" he smiled 
"I wanna stay" Jimin pouted making me laugh 
"I want all of you to stay" Ellie pouted 
"Aww" Namjoon wrapped his arms around her and held her tight "we'll come back and visit soon, I promise" he kissed her temple 
"Okay" she pouted "you better" 
Namjoon laughed "I promised didn't I?" 
"Yes" she smiled and kissed his cheek "I can't wait" 
"We're still here for a few more days kiddo" Tae smiled 
"Like that's enough" she rolled her eyes making me laugh 
"On the plus side you'll have uncle Jinnie with you" Hoseok offered up with a smile
"Exactly! And I love to play, so I'll make sure to keep you company when I'm home" he smiled 
"Will you play dress up?"
"Absolutely!" 
"Okay" she giggled 

When the day finally came to send them off, Yoongi, Ellie, Me, Jin, and Kook took my car while the others had to squeeze into a taxi. Jin had to drive my car for me to the airport because I couldn't stop crying, it was so bad I even had to sit in the backseat with Yoongi just so I could spend a few more minutes with my baby brother. 

By the time we rolled up to the airport almost all of us were in tears, the only ones that weren't were Namjoon and Jin. Yoongi only started to cry when he held Ellie and smothered her in kisses.
I hugged and kissed all of them goodbye and then Yoongi held me tight as I cried into his chest 

"I love you sissy, I will come back soon, I promise. I can't go that long again without seeing the two of you" 
"You better" I smacked him making him chuckle through his tears 
"Text me when you land" 
"I will" he kissed my forehead "I love you"
"I love you too, now go before I start sobbing again" I shoved him, making him laugh as he grabbed his bag and followed the guys into the airport. 

The drive home was so hard, I sat in the front with Jin and tried to stop myself from bawling my eyes out while he drove us home. At one point he reached over and gave my hand a squeeze 
"It will be okay Yumi, they'll come back" he flashed me a smile before focusing on the road again. I let him keep my hand in his. 

Oddly enough, it helped. I started to feel relaxed 

"Uncle Jinnie, can we stop for a happy meal?" 
He glanced at me and I smiled and nodded my head 
"Of course!" He answered with a smile 
"Mommy needs one too, so she can be happy" Ellie said with a pout
"I'll get all three of us happy meals then. And you can get all three toys. How does that sound?"
"Yes!" She cheered and threw her fist up in the air 

My heart swelled. 
I loved their interactions. 
He was so good with her. 

"Here" I said as I handed him my debit card in the drive thru 
"Nope" he released my hand and grabbed his wallet out of his back pocket "this is on me"
"No, Jin, take it" 
"No" he pulled his debit card from his wallet and handed it to the cashier 
"You're a pain in the butt" 
He stuck his tongue out at me "get used to it" he chuckled as he got his card back.
Once we got our food and started driving home again, he reached over and grabbed my hand again, but this time he intertwined our fingers. 
I stayed silent as I stared at our hands. 
My hand was just, lifeless. I finally got the courage to hold his hand back and I noticed the smile that graced his plump lips as we drove home.
