171: The One Where Cheryl's Family Doesn't Aprove

TONI POV:

Cheryl walks into the library and sits in front of me. "I need your help." She says immediately. "Hi babe." I smile before going back to my homework. She closes my book. "I was in the middle of something but ok." She looks at me. "What's up?" I ask. "My parents want to meet you." She says sadly. I nod. "But?" She takes a deep breath. "My parents think you're a guy and that I'm straight." I nod. "That's the problem about going by Toni." I say. "They don't even know your name. They just know I'm dating someone." She whispers. "Damn." She nods. "What are you gonna do?" I ask quietly. "I need help finding a fake boyfriend that will piss of my parents enough so I can pretend to break up with him soon after." I nod. "Sweet Pea has a neck Tattoo." I suggest. "You'll have to pay him because he won't even go to school without me bribing him with money." She nods. "What about that short guy?" She ask quietly. "Fangs?" I ask. She nods. "I can talk to him but I can't promise anything." I say quietly. I look over at Fangs. "Hey dumb ass!" He looks at me. "Can you pretend to be Cheryl's boyfriend?" I ask smiling. He comes over and sits next to me. "You're not out to your parents?" Cheryl nods. "I get it. I'll be your fake boyfriend if you literally do the same thing for me." They shake hands.

"You're not out to your family?" I ask Fangs. "Yeah." He sighs. "My mom told me that if I ever even thought about coming out she would send me to conversion therapy." He whispers. He stops. "Does she know?" I look at him confused. "About what?" I ask confused. "About Ella." He says. I take a deep breath. "No." He looks at me. "You should tell her." He whispers.

CHERYL POV:

I open the door. "Fangs!" I smile. "I'm here to disappoint your parents." He says smiling. "Thank you." He nods. "Are we gonna have to kiss?" I shake my head. "Cheek maybe." He nods. "Good. Because Toni might kill me." I smile a little. "Just be yourself and piss them off." He nods. My parents walks over to in and shake hands with Fangs. We sit down and eat dinner. "So Fangs! Is that your real name?" My dad ask hoping it isn't. Fangs looks at me. I nod. "Yeah." He says to piss my dad off. I smile a little. "You're kidding right?" Mom ask. "I changed my name a few years ago." He says. "From what?" She ask quietly. "Drew. It was boring and I used to have teeth that looked like fangs so everyone called me Fangs." He says smiling. Dad almost has a heart attack. I look over at Nana Rose who's struggling to keep it together because honestly besides me and Fangs she's the only one who actually knows the truth. We finish dinner and Fangs and Dad have a serious talk about our relationship. I look at Nana Rose. "How much do you think he's gonna be paid to never talk to you again?" She ask as I help her into bed. "10,000?" She nods. "Only if Fangs can negotiate that." She smiles. Fangs walks in. "We can head out now." He says. I go over to him and we go over to Toni's. "Hey baby." I kiss her. "How did it go?" She ask. "I managed to negotiate 12,000 fucking dollars from that man!" Fangs says pulling out the check. "How?" I ask. "I said I wanted to marry you." He says smiling. "I've never seen this much money in my life." He adds. I look at Toni. "You ok?" I ask quietly. "Yeah. It's just funny how your family is so rich that your father pays boys not to talk to you again." She says. I nod. "He yells at people when he can't pay with his Amex Black Card. You know, the card that you are supposed to buy a fucking plane with!" Both of them look at me. "You're rich we get it!" Toni says slightly pissed. "Is that why you're with her Toni?" Fangs ask. "No! It's nice but she makes me by everything anyways." He nods. "Ok." I look him confused at the sudden turn. "Not because if you marry her it would be good for-." Toni jumps up and punches him. "Get out!" She grabs his shirt and throws him out. I look at Toni. "What was he about to say?" I ask quietly. She looks down. "I ah... You're gonna hate me." She whispers. "Probably." She takes a deep breath. "You should sit for this." I sit down on the couch while she sits on the table. "I umm..." Toni clears her throat. "Sophomore year of high school, obviously. I ah... got a- ahh... I had a baby." I sit back. "Her name is Ella she's cute." I smile. "Can I see a picture?" She nods pulling out her phone. She shows me a picture of Ella. "She's adorable!" I smile. "You're not mad?" She ask quietly. "I'm not happy about it but her cuteness makes everything ok." She smiles. "Why haven't I seen her yet?" I ask quietly. "Because she lives with my parents." She says quietly. "I wasn't ready to have a kid and my parents took her in and I just see her whenever I want which is everyday after school." I nod. "Can I ask what happened?" I ask quietly. "This is gonna sound stupid, but! Jughead had just joined the serpents after breaking up with Betty. I had a bit of a crush on him, we had sex. My first time ended up getting me pregnant." She explains. "Is that why we haven't had sex?" She nods. "I know you can't get me pregnant and I can't get you pregnant. I just want make sure." She whispers. "Can I tell you a secret?" She nods. "I've only hooked up with one guy and we didn't even actually have sex, also we both ended up being gay." I say quietly. "Moose?" She ask. "How do you know?" I ask confused. "Joaquin." She says. "The party you crashed at Archie's house, right?" I nod. I pull her into a kiss. "I just wanted to make someone jealous. I don't really know who it was so long ago." She smiles. "And before you ask, honestly. I don't know when I'll be ready to do anything in bed." I whisper. She looks at me. "Why?" She ask quietly. "Some stuff happened before we met, I know you kinda confessed something crazy but I'm not really ready to talk about it." She nods. "Of course. When you're ready. For sex and what happened." I smile. "I love you." I whisper. She looks at me. "You weren't ready to hear that were you?" She pulls me into a kiss. "I love you too." She smiles. "When can I meet Ella?" I ask. "Maybe Monday. Only because I have some stuff to take care of tomorrow." I smile. "You're gonna kill Fangs aren't you?" She shrugs. "Maybe." I kiss her. "Can you at least leave him conscious?" She nods. "I'll do my best." She whispers.

Toni walks into the trailer. "Did you kick his ass?" I ask. "Yup!" She goes to the kitchen and washes off her hands. "Is he dead?" I ask looking at her. "Unfortunately no." She says sadly. "Why do you want to kill Fangs? I don't really care about you having a kid." She walks over to me. "You're nose!" I sigh. "And shirt!" I stand up. I start to pull off her shirt. "How?" I ask rubbing her abs. "How what?" She ask confused. "Didn't you have a kid?" I ask. "I work out Cheryl! It's been 3 years." I look down and see a scar. "I had to have an emergency C-section." I look at her. "I never need to do it again." I kiss her. "Does Jughead know?" I ask quietly. "That he's the father? No. And I'm not telling him because I really like Betty and I don't want her to hate me. I've just gotten on her good side!" I smile. "We should clean up your nose." We go to the bathroom. I help clean her nose. "I'm guessing he fought back?" She nods. "He got like 2 good punches to the face in." She says trying to sound tough. "Eye?" She nods. "Give it like an hour or two." I nod.

Toni walks into the trailer. "Cheryl! This is Ella." She says walking over to me. Toni sits next to me with Ella in her arms. "She has your eyes." I whisper. She smiles. "Can you say hi to Cheryl?" She ask quietly. "No." I smile. "It's ok." I whisper.
