"I am Karr," he said with a slight commanding tone, "and I am the Avatar."

The soldiers guarding the door gazed upon the shorter with wide eyes. They stood straighter as if they would be scolded for being to casual.

"Y-you're-" the pair at the entrance stuttered.

Karr waved his hand carelessly, "Yes, it's me. Call me you're majesty, you're highness, all powerful, whatever. But, I would like to be let in."

Hong let out a slight giggle, leaving Karr a bit red.

Soon, the two guards open the doors and let the group inside: Karr first, followed Hong and Hana, with Appa and Fen bringing up the rear.

They followed a servant through the vast hallways, reaching the epic ballroom.

Lights dangled from the high ceiling, mimicking stars. Streams of many shades of blue and grey, decorated the vast space.

The group marveled at the beautiful scene upon them. It was, for sure, a sight you would never forget. They soon were led to another room connected to the first. In here laid a almost never ending dining table, filled with a range of delicacies.

At the sight, Fen gasp, "I've never seen so much food in one place." He stuttered, trying to find his words.

Both Hana and and Appa agreed, it was amazing how much food there can be in one place.

Hong let out a "tear" seeing so much, while Karr stayed in character and pretended to act like this was nothing new, while in the inside he wanted to dive in, right in the middle of the pile of food.

"Welcome! Avatar." A voice spoke from the end of the table. The group turned their attention to a tall figure coming their way, along with Weng close behind.

She was caught right before she got in the boat. Someone from the docks recognized her and informed the guards. Because of her attempted escape, Weng was to be under surveillance 24/7, no exceptions.

Weng Hayes the fact that she would be married off to someone she didn't know - or even worse, someone she hated.

However, her worry slowly disappeared as she saw the man ahead; Karr: the only person she was ever close to. The only one that she could ever count on. Her best friend, besides Hana, and possibly a bit more.

As Karr looked her way, he gave her a bright smile, which made feel warm inside. Weng smiled back, happily as the one she was forced to marry was someone she already liked.

"I am glad you have made it." The chief spoke up again. Karr didn't respond as he was a bit lost in his thoughts of if he would be caught or not.

Hana reluctantly elbowed him on the side to snap him back to reality.

"Ah, yes. Thank you for inviting me here." Karr spoke, slowly drifting back into his character. "Me and my group, are very grateful for your hospitality." He said, as he shook hands with the chief.

The chief smiled brighter, "Of course, a great ally like you would need a great welcoming. So we have prepared a night of festivities upon your arrival, and-"

"Sir, the ballroom is all set and- wait these were the hooligans from yesterday!" The chief was cut off by a familiar looking brown haired man. "What are you doing in here?"

Hana was about to speak before Karr cut her off, "There with me sir, they have accompanied me throughout my travels. It would be very kind of you if you didn't refer to my highly respected companions as hooligans." Karr said, clearly loving his new persona. It was different for him, but he loved this power and thrill of this crazy mission. He turned to look at his group who, in turn, gave polite smiles to the chief and bright ones to Karr. Hong, in particular, sported a small smirk, making Karr a bit warmer on the inside.

Nonethless, introductions and problems of before were all taken care of and there was a few more hours until the official welcoming ceremony begins.

Now, this doesn't mean they were free to do whatever they want for the next few hours. No, the chief had a plan already set in motion, all he has to do is let Karr and Weng spend time together and soon his ultimate power will come.

So, the chief sped off saying he was to help prepare, letting Weng give the Avatar Gang a tour of the palace ending in her own bedroom.

As they entered, the first thing seen from the entrance was a grand tapestry. Before, the tapestry hung in this would depict those of the line of Avatar. However, there was something different with this one. Instead of an Avatar, the tapestry depicted of the late prince of the Fire Nation: Prince Zhulee.

On the desk beneath the tapestry was all books about him and his legend, the legend of time travel, and supposedly theories of where he would have gone.

As the group entered, their eyes immediately turned to this tapestry. "Oh wow, You have done a lot of research." Hong stated as he came in alongside Fen and Appa.

Weng laughed, "I'm intrigued on how he could vanish into thin air." She then turned to Hana, "Its another reason why I wanted to go to the Republic City. There is so much in that city that can help me figure out where he went." Hana just nodded as she watched as Weng dug into her pile of books and papers.

Fen and Appa came closer to the young princess and started to look through all the documents and articles of this famous prince. "So do you believe in the legends?" Fen inquired.

Weng turned to look at the two knee deep into the pile as she was. "Yeah, do you?"

Fen nodded quite aggressively and gestured to Appa, saying that he was too. Weng's eyes brightened, but soon faded as she heard the chimes indicating that the festival was about to begin.

Weng turned to the group, in all and told them that they had to be in the courtyard in 20 minutes. She, then, headed out of her room in quite a hurry, Appa, Fen, and Hong following close behind.

Hana was about to follow before she turned back to Karr, "You ready?" she asked. Karr just nodded seeming a bit nervous for what's about to come.

Hana smiled, "On with the con."
