The innocent

Prologue

Katherine Pierce was a preternatural girl. She lived in Mystic Falls,Virgina. Villagers accused Katherine as a immortal, which she is not. She was born half vampire half human, her mother died giving birth to her.... Katherine was a ingenious girl. No one believed her though... shes actually 3 years old... shes the height of a 17 teenage girl, she looks like it too. Katherine was chased for months since a fellow vampire from her family thought she was a immortal which the fellow member told the voltouri. She successfully snuck out of Virgina and moved to Connecticut. She is the innocent lifeless girl whos accused of being a immoral. She has very adroit powers so be warned... we got a wiled one among us.

Chapter 1

"Get back here god damn it! Chase her to the quarter mile up north!" A villager had yelled. I been running for almost for hours now, I been chased for the past I don't know like 4 months. My Peasant of a Cousin had told the volutori I was an immortal. I mean.. My mother was human when she gave birth to me... my father was a vampire... so I'm NOT immortal. I have very adroit powers to listen to peoples minds and show them the past and future by touching them. Anywho... my names Katherine.. Katherine Marie Pierce to be exact. I'm 3 years old but I look and am the height of a regular 17 year old girl. Im pacing through the winter snow and all of a sudden I feel a sharp pain in my spine.. I touch my back and feel a wooden stake in my back with blood on my hand then I blacked out.

"Get her in the Jail cell! hurry hurry!" A grumpy officer had yelled. "wait... shes still has a pulse." Another said "Immortals don't have pulse you dimwit! They're technically dead!" "But sir, she could be al-" the other man got cut off. " Just put the girl in the cell this instint!" Then I felt my self on a hard wooden floor and with my head throbbing really hard against a wall made of stone. So supposedly the man thrown me into the cell. I stood up with still a blurry vision everywhere. I looked out the small window and saw the village at the bottom of this hill the prison was on. No wonder why I felt like I was on a roller coaster while in that weird jail cart taking me to this hell hole. Now theres gotta be a way out of here. "Hello? Hello? Any one there? Any of you retards of a officer here in this cell room?" I shouted and all I can hear is my voice echoing. "That was no help" I muttered under my breath and layed down on the haystack with only a ripped up pillow and drifted off in a horrible sleep. I only slept for 3 hours until I woke up with a stinging feeling on my right cheek. "Wake up you brat!" A guard had told me and pulled me up. "Get ready.. you'll be killing the innocent as punishment for you being an immortal." "Im not immortal! And Im not gonna kill those innocent people! They are human beings just like us!" I got slapped on my right cheek again, Its gonna appear as a bruise later. "Don't talk back! Your not human! Your partically dead, you can live forever meaning your not normal, you should be burning in hell. You believe in Satan!" The man got angry and kicked me in the gut, I yelped in pain. "Stop screaming you wuss and get ready for your punishment." The man pushed me away and closed my jail cell on the way out. I looked around the jail cell and found a dusty old dresser I suppose that has clothes in there. Oh the joy of being accused of being what im not.. these people are so retarded, I shouldn't be a prisoner or slave or whatever they put me in here for as punishment. Then I see my jail cell open again and I got dragged out by two guards, I tried getting out of their grip, but it was no use. I got bruises on the way to where ever I was going.

Chapter 2

"Sir, She arrived about 12 hours ago." "Excellent, Katherine finally arrived to a place where she belongs with her special powers to be used for good. She'll be one of us. Well... Alec, send her in." I got pushed into a room, I had a white gown on and had bruises all over me since the guards for the past hours abused me for no reason what so ever. The main dude with long black hair, pale skin and red eyes, his name was Kato Will Jepsen . I read his mind. Thats one of my special powers. Kato held my hand and kissed it. "Hello Katherine, we been waiting for you to appear to us and look where we are now a beautiful young lady with your rare adroit powers right in front of us." I moved back slowly and glared at Kato. "Why should I trust you? I know what this group of blood suckers is. You kill innocent vampires, humans and kind on this planet that exists you destroy. Why should I trust you with my powers, you almost killed my family and leaving them in harm when you thought I was immortal..." I felt a sting on my left cheek, he slapped me. "You shouldn't have said that Katherine, now your going to have to pay for the price." Kato pulled me into a room and made me stand in the middle of the room, I saw a person hanging from the ceiling by chains on their wrists. I walk closer to that person and see their face, its one of my cousins, Hailey. "NO! Why is Hailey chained up? What did you do to her?!" I screamed and started to get teary eyed. "That's non of your business my lady, she needs to die as punishment for hiding an immortal in her home." "IM NOT IMMORTAL! I never was, my mother gave birth to me as human for gods sake! I Have proof!" "Silence this once!" I glared at Kato, he cant do this to me. Then two guards grabbed my arms and held me back. "What are you doing?!" "Your going to see your lovely cousin get beheaded." My heart sank and I grew furious. "You better be kidding! She did nothing wrong!" "Silence child, like I told you, she has no choice now, she agreed to it anyways." Kato grinned. Then that was it, I saw Kato rip off Hailey's head. My cousin, beautiful young cousin Hailey got beheaded by the stupid voltouri because they think me Katherine Pierce is a immortal sent from the hells of satan. Well... now shit is about to go down. I screamed so loud I heard windows shatter. "Katherine! What was that for!" Kato slapped me again. "You shouldn't have done that Kato, oh poor poor Kato, your just gonna be dumbfounded after this." I said in a low deep voice that sounded scary like. Kato was about to grab my wrist but my instinct made me grab his and twist his arm and throw him across the room into a huge glass shelf. "Take her to the Punishment room this Instint!" Kato yelled. I got pulled out of the room into a dark dungeon after that, it was so worth scaring the hell out of Kato. He killed my family member, well I might just kill his sooner or later.. or I might just kill Kato. The guards threw me in I fell head first, My head was throbbing again. I looked around the room and saw knifes, wooden stakes, chains, any weapon you could actually think of. I gotta find away out of this prison. Then I remembered, I also had strength so I could just rip off the bars in the window and run away. That's what I did I ripped the medal bars on the window and climbed out the window falling 3 stories down lading safely and ran the opposite direction, im heading for Connecticut.

Chapter 3

I ran through the woods and I appeared up on a street and saw a sign saying "Welcome to Connecticut, finally left that dead zone of villagers and voltouri prison" I walked into a city of Connecticut called Berlin. I suppose in front of me right now is a high school, I walked inside and saw the most gorgeous boy ever I seen in my existence even though im only 3 years old, who cares I look seventeen years old. "Hey Miss, erm do you go here?" the gorgeous boy asked me. I got butterflies in my stomach. His gorgeous sea blue eyes and his dark brown hair with those dimples that expose in his smile just kill me. Stop day dreaming Katherine! "Oh.. erm no but I need to apply and I have no family or friends.. I lost them all.. and i had to move and come here I guess." I looked down at my converse. "Oh my god, I'm so sorry to hear about that, but anyways my names Liam." He smiled and his dimples exposed on his rosy cheeks again, his name fits so perfectly with him too. "Nice to meet you Liam, my names Katherine." I smiled. "Anyways do you know where the main office is?" "Why yes I do of course' this way please" He smiled and walked straight ahead and I followed him to a room that says 'Main office' "Well here we are, see you later Katherine." Liam smiled and walked away to his classes I guess. I walked to the lady at the main desk, she looked at me like if I was wearing underwear on my head. "Hello ma'am may I help you?"

""Yes, can I apply to this school?" "Sure, let me guess you live alone?" the lady questioned me, she might have over heard us.. But I was at the front of the school... what ever any who.. "Yes I Do, no family or friends, lost all of them..." The lady handed me a form. "Just sign out this information and you'll be set to start next week." I signed everything but changed my last name just incase if those psychos try looking for me. My new name is Katherine Marie Garcia. New life until I find my family again.. if I still have since those last months I been chased. I handed my form in and walked out of the school and walked around town and walked into forever 21 and bought some clothes and got my self an apartment, my father gave me a credit card for emergencys.. well I had no choice but to buy an apartment also.. now I just need to get a Job. I walked into a starbucks and asked the lady for a application, she handed it to me and I put in my information and handed it back in, I hope I get the job. I walked Into my new furnished apartment and put my clothes away and tried calling my father. "Come on pick up, please pick up" I muttered and started shaking. "The number you tried to reach got disconnected­-" I hung up the voicemail box faster than a cheetah running and dropped the phone. "He must have been captured... no no no this isn't good." I started getting tearyeyed and fell to the floor hugging my knees. This is all my fault, my family is now endangered, I already lost my cousin Hailey, I can't lose my father. And theres no way in hell that im going back to that prison for stuff I'm being accused for which are totally not true rumors. I heard my doorbell ring, I ran to the door and opened it slowly and Saw Liam. "Oh hi.. you're the new neighbor? Well its nice seeing you again.. I got this welcome basket for you.. my mom got it'" Liam smiled. "Oh.. thanks. Come in" I took the basket and put it on the coffee table and gestured him to sit down. "would you like some tea?" I asked "Oh sure, why not.. so Katherine your enrolling into my school?" "I suppose so... I have no choice... I'm- thinking it's a good school." I almost said I was on the run.. thank god I didn't. Liam smiled. "wouldn't it be cool if we got the same classes?" He scooted closer to me which made me flush red. "So tell me about your self liam." "Well... I'm 17 years old, a senior, quarterback on the football team and a straight A student." "Oh that's nice to know, im 17 years old and well was home schooled my whole life I guess. And I like nature." I handed Liam his tea. "Wow and thanks for the tea Katherine, so you been home schooled? Where are you originally from??" I gulp and stares at liam for a few seconds. "I was born in Washington but I moved to virgina at 1 years old. And then I came here..." I said quiet like and gets paler than usual. "Katherine, are you alright? You look sick." Liam said with a concern look on his face. "Yeah im fine.. just a little homesick.. I miss my family but I don't know where they are..." I get teary eyed and liam hugs me close. " I will watch you like you're my little sister, how bout that Kathy?" He gave me a nickname which made my heart melt. Why is he so god damn perfect?!
