"I applaud all of the very-soon-to-be apprentices of Synn. Your likes, dislikes, and personality all effected what you'll become and what you will do." The High Mage paused, "The process is like what an ancient creature-the butterfly-used to go through, called metamorphosis." He let out a hearty laugh. "If you are a scroll keeper, you might learn more about that."
Jax whispered to Ethan"I bet you'll become a fool!"
Ethan swiftly retorted "I bet you'll be a goblin!"
They both laughed quietly until the High Mage called up Ethan.
"Ethan, you are curious and courageous, two qualities that are a must for a Halfling. We also noticed how much you loved your bow. Because of this, I give you your title of Halfling Archer, and you will be the apprentice to Trish."
Trish stopped joking around with her friends enough to give Ethan a friendly wave.
The High Mage touched Ethan's shoulder and with that, Ethan transformed into a Halfling.
He then bowed and left the stage.
Jax looked down at him and laughed, saying, "Now you're even shorter!" Ethan responded by delivering to Jax a swift kick in the shins.

Right before Ethan went up to the stage, Elken went up to the High Mage and received his new role, that of a Werewolf Hunter-Gatherer. He preferred that job, since it did not involve him talking, except for selling the items he obtained.
Although Elken wasn't surprised he was a werewolf, he wasn't happy with it. People distrusted werewolves, and people already distrusted him.
Elken sighed and thought about how different his life is going to be.

Jax was pretty nervous when he went up to the High Mage. He had no idea what he was going to be. A dragon? A knight? He honestly had no clue, and before he knew it he had received his title of Elven Thief and was to be training under a beautiful Valkyrie.

Kathleen was chanting over and over, not an alchemist, not an alchemist. Her mother was an alchemist, and she wasn't anybody! Alchemists' kept their body, and are forced to be obsessed with the worst kind of magic-transforming.
So, anyone could imagine her when she got the role of alchemist. When she got back to her seat, tears where rolling down her round cheeks.

Margo was jealous of that girl who got alchemist. She loved anytime of magic though, not just alchemy. She loved reading about the most powerful witches and wizards, and how they came up with the best spells. Noside came up with the simplest spell to light a house, and Marg came up with the best spell to communicate with people far away!
When the High Mage assigned her the role of witch, she was overjoyed and couldn't wait for her training to begin.
