It was the next morning after Draco had asked Y/N on a date to Hogsmeade. She hadn't told any of her friends because she was scared of how they would react. Y/N going on a date with the person who tormented them for the past four years? She was sure they were going to be angry, but she did owe Draco that favor.
She woke up changing into casual clothing since it was finally the weekend. She went out of the common room, saying a few hi's to people who greeted her. She entered the Great Hall, looking at the Slytherin table seeing Draco and his friends laughing.
She sat next to her friends and began to pour herself cereal and milk. "Got any plans today?" Ron asked Y/N. This is it, this is where I tell them.
"Actually yes, with Draco." She said not looking up at her three friends. "Malfoy?!" Ron exclaimed with a mouthful of food. Hermione looked over at him in disgust, "Don't be such a pig, Ron! But yes, Malfoy?" Hermione asked her friend. Y/N looked up from her cereal seeing her three friends confused. "Yeah, I owed him a favor since he helped me with my essay– it's the least I can do." Y/N sighed as she continued to eat. "Are you sure he isn't just trying to play you?" Ron joked making Harry chuckle. Y/N frowned slightly, "No Ron, he actually asked me to Hogsmeade and I said yes." Y/N got up rolling her eyes. "Y/N wait!" She heard Hermione going towards her making her stop.
They both walked out of the Great Hall and walked towards the court yard. "You know Ron is only joking, we are just worried about him hurting you– he is Malfoy after all." Y/N sighed as they both sat down. "I know it's just why is it so hard to believe Draco asked me on a date?" Hermione laughed softly, "Well you are a Gryffindor and new here. I think Ron was just trying to look out for you." Y/N shrugged her shoulders slightly. "Are you excited for Hogsmeade?" Hermione asked trying to lighten up the mood. "I suppose, I've never been."
Both girls got up and made they're way to the common room to get ready for the schools trip to Hogsmeade. Y/N changed into a long sleeve, with some jeans and a coat, since it was cold and lightly snowing. Many students were already waiting in the courtyard with Professor Mcgonagall. "Everyone please give me your permission slips." She commanded. Y/N and Hermione handed her the slips, along with Ron. Harry came running towards the group and the professor. "I was thinking maybe you could sign my permission slip?" He asked Professor Mcgonagall, but she declined. "We can stay if you'd like Harry?" Hermione offered. Harry shook his head and told the three of them to go ahead. Y/N gave him a small smile before heading to Hogsmeade.
The three friends walked around Hogsmeade, Y/N constantly on the look out for Draco, since she didn't see him at the entrance. Maybe Ron was right, maybe he was playing with me.
But Y/N was certainly wrong. Draco was actually looking for her, but his friends being the gits they were made him want to stay back. They would constantly joke about him asking a Gryffindor out, but he didn't care– they were idiots anyways. "You both are a bunch of morons, I'll see you in the common room." Draco scoffed as he looked for Y/N.
Y/N, Hermione and Ron were walking through the snow, eating chocolate frogs. Ron being distracted with his candy, tripped and landed on the cold white snow. Making both girls laugh.
Draco walked around everywhere, desperately looking for Y/N. He had lost hope, until he heard her laughing with Hermione. Sighing in relief he made his way towards them.
"Oh! Hi Draco!" Y/N said with a big smile, but Ron and Hermione's face turned to annoyance. "Hey Y/N, can we go now?" Y/N turned to her friends hugging them quickly. "If you do anything Malfoy-" Ron started. "Oh shut up Weasley." Draco cut him off, rolling his eyes.
Y/N looked at Ron, giving him an apologetic smile, before going to Draco.
"I was beginning to believe you blew me off." Y/N laughed as her and Draco walked. "Blew you off?" Y/N had forgotten he didn't know much of American slang. "Like you weren't going to show up." Draco raised an eyebrow with his lips making a small 'o'. "Never. What kind of gentleman would I be, if I did that?" He smirked. Y/N laughed lightly as they walked towards the shops.
"Let's head to honeydukes." Draco said as he took her hand leading the way. It look Y/N by surprise, Draco was certainly confident. They entered the shop and the smell of candy over took both their noses. He led her towards the chocolate grabbing a few chocolate frogs, jelly beans, and lollipops. "Do you want anything?" He asked her and she nodded, "I'll just get a chocolate frog." She smiled. Draco payed for the sweets, walking out of the store, hand in hand. "It's funny, you barely know me and you grab my hand like I'm your girlfriend." Y/N smirked at the boy. He looked at her and chuckled, "You're not mine, yet." Y/N laughed, this boy was certainly going to be trouble.
"What makes you think I'll be yours?" Y/N asked and Draco smirked once again. "Because you haven't let go of my hand." Y/N looked at their inter-winded hands. For a brief moment she did want to let go of his hand, but something in her didn't let go.
They sat on a bench, letting the small snowflakes fall onto them. They both began to eat their sweets, having small conversations and laughing. Y/N began to realize she liked Draco's presence. He wasn't as rude as people made him out to be, he was actually kind and funny. Y/N was developed a crush on him, and vice-versa.
"You're not so bad for a bully." Y/N joked making Draco smirk. "And you're not so bad for a new girl."
