80% of the population have quirks and the question "What's your quirk?" Is the question that decides what society thinks of you. Some people have villain quirks, while some have heroic quirks. But the people who are considered lower than the villains are the other 20% of the population... the quirkless. Which is the group I fall into, my name is Izuku Midoriya and this is the story of how I became the worlds #1 hero. Well that's what the story was going to be until I met my one and only. The one who showed me the true colors of the world, the one to open my eyes and his name is Hitoshi Shinso. He went to UA with me but was undercover for the league of villains. This story is how we became the best villain couple and what he asked me to tell you all in his final moments. So in the memory of Hitoshi Shinso... open your ears, lean forward and remember this story. The story of Hitoshi Shinso.
-3 years before-
Quirks are essential for the way we live now and I'm one of the 20% in the world that don't have a quirk. Of course the people with 'villain quirks' are treated badly... but not as bad as the quirkless.
Two sides, good and evil, heroes or villians, the light or darkness. When growing up we are told about how the heroes saved people from the villain attack or how All Might stopped a villian. No one thinks about what happens behind the camera though or how it got to the extent of life or death. Though most villains are bad, some are good. I thought like most of the people in the world "Villains are bad'' or "Go All Might!'' But what's behind the fake smile... all that's there is fraud. He's no hero, he is a true villain.
-1 year earlier-
All Might, the number one hero, and he had found someone to pass his quirk onto Izuku Midoriya. How could a scrawny, quirkless boy get the number one hero's quirk? Well it certainly wasn't an easy road... and I would know because my name is Izuku Midoriya. When All Might saved me from the Sludge villain I thought it was the best day of my life, but I quickly went from 100 to 0.

He said I couldn't be a hero and that I would only get in the way of the heroes... though that changed as soon as I saved Kacchan from the villain. Well of course this isn't how I thought back then.
-Deku's first day of high school-
The first day of my freshman year is a day that started a change in my life... a change that was for the best. My morning wasn't any different than a normal school morning, I changed into my uniform and left for school. To the best hero school in Japan, UA high school! Only 40 of the students who participated in the entrance exam made it into the hero course and I happen to know 3 people who did it. Myself, Kacchan and the nice girl who saved me from face planting into the ground.
I was really hoping that Kacchan wasn't going to be in my class, though that wasn't my biggest worry that day. Well it was until I was only 5 minutes away from the school. My biggest problem was that I was already 5 minutes late to class! I don't even know where the time went, but that 5 minutes I was late to class is what started the change.
I started running to UA, hoping that maybe my homeroom teacher wouldn't be there-- though now that I think about it... that was just wishful thinking...
Running into the front gates of the school and into the building with a lot of speed caused me to bump into someone... a tall, tired, purple haired fellow.
-Deku's past POV-
"Ah shoot! I-I'm sorry!" I said backing up and rubbing the back of my neck... which is a nervous tick of mine. The purple haired boy just looked at me before turning around and walking away. I was just surprised and stood there, shocked, before I realized I was still late to class. "Oh my god, I'm such a klutz," while muttering other insults to myself on my way to class. My train of thought stopped when I walked in front of a door that said 1-A. Opening the door I came across 19 students and a hobo looking man all staring at the door, "Sorry..." I said quietly looking at the floor and fiddling with my fingers. "Are you Izuku Midoriya?" The hobo asked me, "Yes sir." Looking around the room one more time I realized the only empty seat (my seat, I'm assuming) was behind my old childhood best friend... Katsuki Bakugo or as I call him Kacchan. Seeing him staring at me with mocking eyes made me crumble into myself a little bit more. "Go take your seat and don't be late again..." I grabbed a hold of the straps on my backpack and went to my seat while avoiding Kacchan's feet. "Now before I was interrupted, let me introduce myself. My name is Aizawa Shota, and my hero name is Eraserhead." The hobo looking man said, who I now know as Easerhead.
(The day continued like it did in the anime until they were dismissed for the day)
After Mr.Aizawa let everyone go home for the day I stayed behind so I could apologize for being late, but just as I walked up to him he fell asleep. As to not get on his bad side more than I already had I figured it was best just to leave a note.
' Dear Mr. Aizawa,
I'm sorry about being late to class today and I promise it won't happen again. Sorry for inconveniencing you this morning.
Sincerely, Midoriya Izuku '
By the time I finished writing the note and packing up all of my stuff the hallways were almost empty besides a few students here and there. One student caught my eye though, the purplette from earlier. I said, "Hey!" I yelled walking up to him and tapping on his shoulder to try and get his attention, hoping he wouldn't straight up and ignore me like earlier. He turned
around and looked down at me and glared saying, "What?" I was a bit surprised, but smiled nonetheless and said "I'm sorry for running into you this morning... I was in a hurry to get to class." He just nodded and was about to turn around before I interrupted his silence once more by saying, "I'm Izuku Midoriya and you are?" He just sighed and muttered, "Hitoshi Shinsou." I gave one of my close eyed smiles and said, "It's nice to meet you Shinsou-kun!" Once again Shinsou just nodded and asked," So... Midoriya-kun, are you in the hero course?" I just smiled sheepishly and nodded a bit, "What about you?" He looked at me with a look I couldn't describe and responded with," General studies... So what's your quirk?"
