Chapter 8

*5 months later. '6 months pregnant'*

Michael's POV*

I sit in the doctors office as Dr. Lloyd put the gel on Savannah's stomach and was moving the wand around her stomach. She squeezed my hand as we looked at the screen. "The baby is growing at a normal pace and that's good but for birth I'd like you to take these just in case of any implications around that time." Dr. Lloyd said smiling handing us a prescription. We left running to the pharmacy. I laced our hands together as we walked into the store. "Mr. Clifford?" I hear as we wait for her pills. I turn around to see one of my old students. "Oh hey Amber! How's life treating you?" I asked. "Eh. I don't like living on my own." She said taking a step closer to me. "Amber this is my girlfriend Savannah. Savannah this is my old student Amber. We're expecting in 3 months" I said smiling fondly at Savannah. She smiled back at me fondly. "Awe. Your kid is gonna be so cute!!" She said laughing a bit. "Savannah Clifford?" The pharmacist called. Savannah blushed getting her pills and we left. "She put my last name as Clifford" Savannah smiled looking at me. "Yea. And one day that's what it'll really be" I said kissing her. She smiled kissing back. "I've gotta get you dinner babe. What do you want me to cook?" I asked lacing our hands together as it takes about 15-20 minutes to get back home. "Well let's decide that when we see what we have at home Babe" She said squeezing my hand. I smiled kissing the top of her hand. Savannah blushed hiding her face behind her hair. We pulled i n to the apartment complex. I got out and she walked up next to me. I led her inside. I went up to Luke's door knocking. "Hey Mikey and Sav" Luke said answering the door while Calums behind him making food. "Hey Cake" Savannah said laughing. "Well Sav and I are having a dinner party with you guys and Ash with his girlfriend Emily tomorrow night. You guys should be there" I said. They nodded. Savannah hugged Calum and Luke before walking across the hall back into our apartment. "Well we have ingredients for spaghetti." Savannah said from in the kitchen. "Then I shall make that for you my darling. Go take a relaxing bath to get the stress off your feet and back while I cook" I said kissing her. She kissed back but nodded when we pulled away. Once she was in the tub I put down a table cloth and put a candle in the middle. With plates on both sides. I spread roses throughout the hallway and kitchen. I put the already made spaghetti in the microwave for about a minute and put it on the plates. She walked out of the bathroom as I could hear her gasp. I smiled standing at the end of the hallway. She smiled at me. As all the lights were dimmed. Not to blow my own horn but this is pretty romantic. I pull out her chair and she sits. I push her in before going to my side and sitting. "Thank you for this Mikey" She said grabbing my hand from across the table. I smiled squeezing her hand. "I'd do this for you everyday If I could" I said pecking her hand. She blushed and we started eating. "I love you. No I'm in love with you. You're the best thing that's ever happened to me. I wouldn't be this happy with you. I want to grow old with you and raise a child with you. I want to be your everything. I want to be the one that picks you up when you're down, that helps you when you're hurt, that helps you when you're frustrated, mad and feel like giving up. So I know we're a bit young but will you marry me?" I asked getting down on one knee pulling out the engagement ring from my pocket. She had tears falling down her face also. She got up so I stood in front of her. She was smiling but the tears were still falling. "Yes Mikey. A thousand times yes" She said falling into my arms. I held her as I kissed her and she kissed me. I slipped the ring on her finger and she smiled at it nuzzling her face in my neck.
