A Surreal Situation

~Prologue~

I haven't showered in months. I feel as if I've gone completely crazy. I haven't seen my father in a very long time. Does he think about me? Is he trying to find me? What has Valerie told my father about me? When is her stupid brother gonna come to bring me clothes and food. I dread being hungry and dirty. I hear the cottage door creaking. Has Valerie's brother Tyler come. I believe its already been 2 weeks since I've gotten food. I'm hungry I yearn for some water. I hate this woman. How can she do this to somebody. I really wonder what happened to her other husband. Rumor has it that she killed him and others say he was poisoned. I believe she poisoned him and just in case you were wondering her dead husband's name was Duke Hercules III. Has she killed my father King Allejandro too. I wonder how she caught my fathers heart anyways. But then again as some people may say it doesnt matter the looks the inside is what counts. Which doesnt go for Valerie its not like she is a good person on the inside. Valerie is a wench she has done nothing but embarrass my father at royal outings when I was younger. She constantly argued with my father about cathy the oldest of her two daughters becoming queen because shes older than me. But each time my father rejected her idea she became more angry and despising to me. I think thats what drove her to send me to this little cottage in isolation. Its been 12 years since I've been in that castle or my father. Every once in awhile the wench and her two daughters come to taunt me. Sometimes i feel like ripping those nasty powdered cheeks off their faces. its like everytime they speak specks of powder fall off. I also notice my step sisters are horrid looking jesus! ive never seen such ugly people they are a disgrace to woman kind. Oh, my where are my mannersIi havent even introduced myself my name is Cinderella and im 17 years old. Also, i just so happen to be the long-lost princess. Im the next in line for queen ever since my father the king died.
