(magical timeskip to Monday)

So, a lot of things happened over the weekend. Everyone found out about Pepper's death. I acted like I cared. But, in truth, I was happy. The room felt a lot warmer without Pepper.

Some people were distraught by her death. Nickel, being himself, didn't care. OJ was very confused, and Suitcase was sad that she didn't get to know her better.

The funeral was held on Sunday. I hid an onion in my pocket so I would look convincing. My mom and dad were so distraught that one of their twins were murdered that they were bawling their eyes out. We carried Pepper's coffin to the cementery, and my parents buried her.

"So long, old pal..." I said as the final bit of dirt was placed. Then, I was left alone with Pepper's grave.

Placing a blood red rose by the grave, I stared at it.

"Here lies Pepper, lying dead with a knife in her back." I sighed.

Everything was changing right before my eyes. But, I was too morally distraught to notice anything just yet. Was killing Pepper really the right thing? Because I can't see her anymore.

I'll...decide that later.

Going to class on Monday, everyone seemed solemn. I took my seat, now with the left desk completely empty.

Everyone was giving me weird looks, probably cause of what happened. Nobody saw, so nobody will know.

English class went on as usual, with us reading The Cask of Amantillado. Analyzing theme and such. Boring. My mind fell asleep until I heard-

"Will Salt please report to the office?" over the intercom.

Grabbing my backpack, I walked down the hall to the front office. I thought about why they were calling me to the office. Arriving there, I saw the secretary of the office, MePad.

"Salt. You're here. Sit over on the bench, and we'll call you in a moment."

So, I went over to the bench, next to another girl. We decided to talk.

"Eight Ball ( @Thanos_stolemyweave ) is really sweet!  But, she has a really bad stutter and is shy. Wonder why she was called into the office. Her singing voice is really good! She's also good at soccer, whatever that is. Trust level: High!)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Uh, Ms. Salt! They're ready for you."

MePad lead me into the principal's office. In there, sitting around, was Principal MePhone and Vice Principal Toilet were waiting for me.

"Take a seat, Mistah Salt!"

I sat down, and MePhone stared me down.

"Listen, Salt. Do you know about your sister's death-"

"Twin. She's my twin."

"Right. Right. And, do you know about what she did that would get the police a lead in on the crime?"

"Well, last I saw her, she told me she was going to a Denny's after taking a shower."

"Good. Did you go into the bathroom?"

"No."

"Do you know if we could have a lead on the murder?"

"No."

"How do you know that?"

"Because I went straight home after this."

"Are you the culprit?"

Shoot. Now, I have to decide something. Do I:

> act and say that no one here was the culprit (+ 20%)

or

> blame it on someone (+ 15%)
