I heard sobbing once I walked in, it was Draco's. It reminded me so much of when he was nearly killed by Harry.

"What's wrong?"
I asked.

He turned to me his sleeve rolled up. With his unwanted dark mark fading into a massive scar.

"It burns."
He said sobbing, as he fell to his knees in excruciating pain.

I sat on the floor beside him, his head to my chest, once again history repeating.

"Shh, it's alright. It's alright."
I said trying to ease him, but I knew it wouldn't help.

This was going to scar him forever. The pain of getting the mark is one thing. But I can't even imagine how much pain it is to rid of it. He slowly started drifting in and out of sleep, tears streaming down his face.

Hermione came in asking.
"Are you two alright."

"No can you go find Neville if he's here please."
I asked still holding him tight. Hermione turned running out of the bathroom on a hunt for Neville.

"Everything's going to be okay, Darling. I promise."
I said, but truthfully, I'd didn't know if it would be okay.

Hermione came back with Neville out of breath from running. She had taken off her heels, running around the castle in her bare feet.

"Neville can you make a balm of some description to sooth a burn or go steal one from Madame Pomfrey's stash in the hospital wing. I would make it myself but in these circumstances I can't."
I said looking at Neville then to Hermione.

"Yeah I'll run and check if there is anything there." Neville said before running out.

"Is he going to be okay."
Hermione asked looking at his arm.

"He'll be alright. He's strong, stronger than anyone I know."
I said as tears escape my eye.

"What is actually happening thought."
Hermione asked sounding puzzled.

"As Voldemort is dead. The dark mark will fade to become a scar. But initially getting the mark is torturous, but I can't imagine the pain of which it is for it to leave. He said it burns. He didn't even want this. The only good thing right know is I know Lucius is suffering. This is his fault."
I said my eye building up with tears whilst pointing at the soon to be scar.

"He'll pull through."
Hermione said trying to encourage me.

Neville came running in with a jar. He opened the jar handing me it. I held Draco's arm applying it to the burn hoping it'll sooth the pain.
I asked Hermione to grab my cloak and his blazer so we could just go home. He needed to rest, it was only going to get worse. Hermione came back with my cloak and his blazer handing my them. I wrapped the blazer round Draco and draped the cloak over my shoulders. "I'll let everyone know that you are leaving." Hermione said. I nodded at her and apparated home Draco still in my arms.

We arrive outside the house, rain beating down.

"We need to go in the house Darling."
I said sheltering his face with his blazer.

I brushed away the stray hairs from his face, as he began to wake up. He stood up and started walking over to the house stumbling, I quickly grab him so he doesn't fall and open the front door walking in. I walk him over to the living room sitting him on the couch.

"Just wait here, I'm going to grab some fresh clothes for you."
I said walking upstairs.

I take off my shoes throwing them on floor by the foot of the bed. Wiggling my feet on the soft red carpet beneath me. I open the black oak drawers grabbing a black t-shirt and grey sweatpants and run downstairs with them. I get back to the living room to see Draco basically asleep.

"Darling, wake up. You need to get changed."
I said hoping he'd hear me.

He didn't move, he was in so much pain that was just going to leave him and let him sleep. I enter the kitchen sticking the kettle on making a cup of tea, mint tea it's my favourite. I look out my already made potions, herbal balms from the hidden cupboard in the wall. I sit at dinning table looking through my bottles and jars of balms and potions till I find my herbal soothing balm. I grab it walking into the living room, looking at the couch not seeing Draco there, the clothes are also gone. I run upstairs to see him standing at the mirror looking hatefully at his mark. Slightly pushing open the door, I walk in sitting the jar on the drawers.

"How are you feeling?"
I ask, placing my hand on his shoulder.

"Better, your balm is helping a lot."
He said smiling at me turning.

He pulled me into a hug. Holding me tightly, not letting go.

"Right get some sleep cause this could get worse."
I said looking up at him.

"Fine."
He said, I can tell he rolled his eyes at that.

He walks over getting into bed tucking himself in.
