Chapter 3: looking back

~ "sometime in your life, you will bump into people you thought will carry you out till the end, but instead they carry you to throw you in a ditch..be careful who you associate yourself with, baby girl. People are heartless, you hear frecky, freckles?"

I hear you daddy...this man has done bad things in his past but tried to fix them through his youngest.

"No one is perfect, you aren't perfect freckles but as long as you choose to be yourself then you're just perfect. As long as you make yourself happy, you're set for any battle, okay freckles"

Why is freckles so important to me?
Because , as you see..daddy said freckles after every piece of advice. If you heard him call me freckles  , you knew he was about to spit some wisdom out.

"Hey uni, how's everything?" He's disgusting, agrivating face stood there plain staring at me. "Everything ? Everything's fine. I don't know if my sister is all crazy for you, i think she despises you. She wouldn't want to go out with you, so stay away !" I was so angry, i just said what came to mind, even though rose was gonna kill me . "Yo, wassup uni? why you being harsh?" the nerve this guys' got ! " I'm being harsh ? Well go fuck yourself, cause you're definitely not getting my sister and you're losing me as your uni !" I bumped his shoulder as i left.

"When someone doesn't want you around, don't settle. Never lower your standards for anyone, let them higher their standards to associate themselves with you, you got that freckles?"

Young me would never understand these words of encouragement but now, its coming back and playing an important role in my life.

"You're not special, okay? Now stop pretending like you are, just live being you, okay scar.  Dont be fake , and never settle for less..fake kiki bull shit isn't for you, i hope you're listening freckles "

He was drunk when he gave me that advice. Best advice thus far. ♥️

"Come here uni , this is crazy ! What are you talking about ?" I then felt a hand pull my hand making me turn around rapidly. "You are insane if you think I'm gonna hang around to your bull shit. Boy bye !" I tried to turn around but he didn't let go of me. "What bull shit, tell me what's wrong scar, talk to me"

"there's a point in your life my baby, you're gonna think people like you but they dont, you skin doesn't approve. Never, you'll never find happiness if you're stuck in one spot"

Mommy dearest gave me that one, when dad passed on, she gave me that advice, then she vanished from my life.

"cummon, you only sticking around with me just to get closer to my sister. I mean, look at me, I'm ugly. Obviously you wanna get my sister but at least ha-" he began  to laugh while I was pouring my heart out. "Is that it? You're crazy frecky , all this drama because of jealousy, well I do like your sis because i thought you were lesbian, i mean you and amanda are a thing right? She's always talking about you" tears ran down my cheeks.  My dream, it told me the truth but i ignored it. I chased someone amazing away for, for , him.

Life's unfair and cruel, its a bumpy ride. Just get used to it and you're one step ahead of life.
