I released a shaky breath of air, lifting my head up from my knees. I froze when the words I just spoke registered in my head.

No one was supposed. No one was supposed to know about the monster and now all of my brothers know.

My heart started beating faster again and I kept my gaze trained on healing wrists. They were only slightly bruised now, no longer the ugly blue and purple color they once we're but now the skin was just red and slightly irritated. The scabs on my ankles were still there, an ugly brown and red color and the skin around it was red but not irritated at all.

I looked up cautiously and was met with twelve piercing glares aimed at me. I flinched, looking back down at my knees but I still felt all of their glares trained on me. I was scared, I was embarrassed to face them. I didn't want any of them thinking of like someone broken piece of fragile glass that can't be repaired.

"Adrian." A soft voice said from next me.

I looked towards the voice and saw Ryder's steel grey eyes trained on me, his eyes no longer glaring at me but the anger was still evident behind his grey irises, "Did he do that? Did your dad do that to you?" Ryder pointed his finger at my fractured ribs.

I didn't answer his question, still too shaken up. I opened my mouth to answer but my voice was lost somewhere in the back of my throat and all that came out was a barley audible squeak.

"Damn it, Adrian, answer the fucking question!" I flinched at Kaden's loud voice as he inched forward which made him look all the more intimidating.

"Kaden." Luciano growled out in warning.

Kaden took a step back, scoffing and crossing his arms over his chest.

"Adrian." Ryder said softly again, "Did your dad do that to you?"

I switched my gaze to him but it shifted back to Kaden, the fear pooling in my eyes at his enraged expression.

"Adrian." My gaze snapped to Ryder again, his soft voice reaching my ears but not quite registering, "Answer the question."

"Answer the bloody question!" Blake practically growled, then anger radiating off of him waves.

I shivered, curling myself into my body even more.

"Blake!" Ryder snapped at him in warning.

"That wasn't an ordinary nightmare." Damon growled, his hand falling limp to his sides, "What the fuck was that?"

"Adrian, please answer the question." Elijah said softly from the other side of me.

"Answer the question, Adrian." Xander's voice was low a growl in the back of his throat, his stance just as intimidating as Damon's.
