"Oh come on!" I shouted, watching the ball hit the cup and bounce off. As soon as I had walked down the stairs, I was instantly dragged into a game of beer pong with Jaden.
"How did that not go in!?" Blake said, laughing as he lined up his shot from the other end of the table. Looking over at Jaden, I sarcastically rolled my eyes as he placed a comforting hand on my back. "Regs, if I get this," Blake began, pointing at the last cup sitting in front of me."you've got to...give Tayler a lap dance."
"Excuse me?" Tayler and I asked, as we looked over at each other.
"No no," Jaden explained, waving his hand in the air. "Tayler gives Regs a lap dance since it's her birthday."
"Hey, either way, someone's getting danced on." Blake laughed, throwing the ball across the table and sinking it in the most effortless way possible. "Let's just," Walking towards me, Blake took my hand and dragged me towards the couch, not really caring about how this was going to be the weirdest situation I've ever been in. "there." After sitting me down, I watched as he began looking for the perfect song as Jaden guided Tayler towards me.
"I'm sorry." Tayler whispered as he leaned down and kissed the top of my forehead. As if this was actually happening. Who in their right mind wants a lap dance from their best friend? God, I hate that it's my birthday.
"Ladies and Gents, it's amateur night!" Blake shouted before pressing play and allowing the room to fill with music once again.
I scrunched my face as Tayler began to dance and it was just...bad. Tayler clearly didn't have much practice in this department of dancing. Placing his hands on the back of the couch, his body was inches from my face and I just couldn't stop myself from placing my hands over my eyes.
"Get her hands!" Hearing Blake yell, I immediately shook my head as I felt Tayler take my hands in his and place them on his chest, guiding them down...almost like I had done upstairs with a completely different boy...oh God...Noah.
Opening my eyes, I looked around the room and tried to find him but so many people had crowded around, trying to see the Tegan show, that I couldn't see him for the life of me. Placing his hand on my cheek, trying to gain my attention once more, Tayler's body had somehow managed to get even closer to mine and I couldn't help but start laughing. Sure, Noah and I are...whatever and I would never want to disrespect him like that but I gotta admit...Tayler trying to be as sexy as possible was fucking hilarious. The song came to an end and the horrible dancing finally stopped so Tayler picked me up from the couch, engulfing me in an apologetic hug.
"Well, would you look at that?" The voice filled the room as the music began to fade and the vibe in the room immediately changed. "We walked in at the perfect time." Looking over Tayler's shoulder, I was confused for multiple reasons. Why weren't they here in the first place? And why the hell did they look like they just came to fuck up our entire night?
"I don't recall you being invited." Bryce said, pushing through the crowd.
"Tayler invited the Hype House...and last time I checked...we're part of the Hype House."
"Bro, I didn't extend that invite to you." Releasing his arms from my waist, I saw the look in his eyes and I just knew Tayler wasn't playing around. "It's time for you to leave."
"Oh come on, we just got here! Plus, we need to stick around to see little Regs here sneak out of your bed in the morning."
"Chase-"
"What?" I asked. In my book, Chase and I were fine, I didn't really have an issue with him so I didn't really understand why I was being thrown into this.
"Your late night visits to the Hype House haven't gone unnoticed." Thomas explained, joining in...again, I had no problems with him. As far as I knew, we were good.
"Kid, you need to shut your mouth." Tayler spat, stepping closer to the two boys who seemed to be enjoying this way too much.
The room fell silent as Bryce stood next to Tayler and I just knew if anyone spoke one more word...all hell would break loose.
"I don't know what the hell is going on," I said, stepping in between the four boys. "But this is not happening right now."
"Regs, get out of the way." Tayler demanded, not breaking eye contact with the others.
"And what are you going to do if I don't?" I asked, turning my body to fully face him. I know Tayler better than anyone and sometimes, he needs someone to snap him back into reality. I don't know what exactly is going on but I guess I finally know what the boys have been hiding from me.
