Chapter 11 || Jealousy

JOY'S POV

What?! He's.. YOOK SUNGJAE?! That jerk who bullied everyone back in elementary?! Are you fvcking kidding me?!

I widened my eyes and glared at him, crossing my arms. He raised an eyebrow, surprised of my actions. "Are you gonna... tell me your name?" Sungjae scratched his head awkwardly. "No thanks, my name is not free. I don't just give it to simple jerks such as yourself." I rolled my eyes.

Purposely bumping my shoulder to his, I strutted away leaving him dumbfounded. Ha! That will show him! I know he probably changed since then, but I didn't care. That's what Nini taught me when we were little. She was a very sassy and savage kid, and she still is. Memories of our childhood dawned on me..

FLASHBACK

Nini wasn't always sassy. She would be timid whenever someone bullied her. But that changed one day...

I was just minding my own business, getting to class early, like the good student I am. When someone came up behind me.. "Hey brat! Where are you going?!" I rolled my eyes as I already know who it was. "Would you just leave me alone, Sungjae?"

He snickered. "Why would I?" Sungjae placed his hands on his hips. "I'm not even doing anything to you.. please I don't want any trouble right now..." I sighed. "No!" With that being said, he knocked my books off my hands and pushed me to the ground.

"Sungjae! You leave her alone!" I looked to my right and saw.. "Nini..?" I squinted my eyes. She smiled at me but instantly glared at Sungjae. "Oh look! You're finally standing up for yourself!" Sungjae mocked. Nini helped me pick my books up from the ground.

"What are you still doing here? Leave us alone now! Go! Shoo!" Jennie waved her hand somehow indicating a go-away gesture. Sungjae scoffed at her attitude. "Who do you think you are?! Bossing me around like that?! I'm older than you, you know! You should respect me!" Jennie raised a brow, slowly approaching him.

"No. Who do you think you are, bullying other people and insulting them! Learn some respect, please! Just because your uncle's the principal doesn't give you the right to bully everyone else! And besides, you're only a year older than me. I'll start respecting you, when you start respecting everyone else in this school." She sassed, but Sungjae didn't buy it.

"Hey! You better change your attitude! No wonder you don't have any other friends other than Kkyeopjoy here. It's because your personality is trash." He crossed his arms, thinking he won. Jennie crossed her arms as well. "Don't mistake my attitude and my personality!"

She switched her stance. Placing her hands on her hips instead. "My personality is who I am. But my attitude? Well.. that depends on you." She raised a brow, smirking. "W-well-.." Sungjae was cut off by Joy. "Just leave us alone now, Sungjae.." The two girls rolled their eyes.

FLASHBACK END

That Sungjae bullied everyone back then, he stole people's homeworks, and even put a kid in the hospital. Well.. he didn't beat anyone up. He was chasing that kid around and that kid unfortunately didn't see the car. Worst of all, no one could do anything because his uncle was the principal. They're both very ruthless.

Anyways.. I have got to tell Nini about this.

"Nini? Nini!" I shouted in the hall. No answer. What the hell? Where is she?! Oh yeah! Taehyung dragged her somewhere. Groaning in annoyance, I stomped my feet. "Wait! The gym!" Grinning to myself, I sprinted towards the gym just to find other people whom I don't know. I sighed.

"Did she go home already? No.. the boys have tryouts and we're planning on cheering them on.." Biting my lip, I tapped a finger in my chin. "All this searching and thinking is making me hungry," I pouted as my feet dragged me towards the lobby where the vending machines are.

As I turned to the corner, I heard voices. My instinct demanded for me to stay for a while and eavesdrop, but I dismissed t. Instead, I peeked on the corner and saw.. Taehyung pinning Nini on the wall? I rubbed my eyes in case my mind was playing tricks on me, but nope.

Why is he pinning her on the wall? Did something happen or something? I thought as I crashed my eyebrows. The next scene explained everything. Taehyung smashed his lips on Nini's. I gasped quietly. What the-?! Are they dating or something?! The hell? is this right now?!

I'm so mad and I don't even know why. My fists clenched in rage and I probably look so red right now. "Why are they kissing?" Mumbling to myself, I sighed. "I can't take this anymore." Those were my last words before I stormed out, heading to my house. Of course, getting my bag beforehand.

When I reached my home, I was greeted with my mother on the couch. "Kkyeopjoy! How are yo-" I walked past her, up to my room which obviously left her dumbfounded. Slamming my door shut, I laid down on my bed. Sigh.. You know, I actually thought he liked me.

I shook my head vigorously. "Welp, guess I'll have to make him love me instead." I smirked. "I'll show up tomorrow, looking gorgeous." Squealing, I went to my closet and picked up my most gorgeous outfits. Get ready, Taehyung. You'll be mine soon..

Sorry for the long wait everyone! I was just busy working on my other book "FairyTale" Nevertheless, the epilogue is out and I can focus on this book as well. But as I'll also make special chapters for my other book about Liskook, Jirosé, and Jinsoo.
