A Silver Kiss

Chapter 1

I padded along the cool grass too someplace safe because my whole pack was destroyed. I was the alpha of the winter pack. I was walking for what seemed like hours until I came across a cave, I entered the cave and it was nice and warm. There was a little pond and some tunnels leading to different areas of the cave.

"This will be a perfect place to stay until I find a new pack," I said to myself. I padded to the little pond and drank some water. The cool refreshing taste dampened my dry mouth.

"That feels much better," I said. I wandered around the cave and fount a smaller tunnel leading to a big clearing with a lot of grass. I sniffed the air and followed my nose when I caught a whiff of rabbit. I followed the sent and I saw a rabbit. I jumped and it started to get away. I was faster and caught up to it and killed it. I took the rabbit to my little den inside the cave and started eating it, but then I stopped when I smelt humans. I backed away scared with my ears down whimpering.

I then saw a few men with guns and by their sent they were rabbit hunting.

"Hey look it's a wolf," said one of the men.

"Yeah your right Jax, but you can see it's ribs and bones," said another.

"Here girl, it's okay we won't hurt you," the guy named Jax said. I whimpered and moved forward only a little bit

"Come on girl we promise we won't hurt you," Jax said. I inched closer until I was in front of him. He lifted up his hand and petted my head. My brownish-gray fur, all rough from running through to many prickle bushes.

"Come on you can stay with us until your strong again," Jax said. I was happy to have someone to take care of me and my journey had just begun.............

...A Few Years Later...

I was now living with Jax in a small village that I own, every dog is scared of me when I walk the streets, my rough brownish-gray fur had become a soft grayish-white and it suited me. My body was healed and muscular than before. Jax even gave me a name Silver it suited me because of my fur would always turn silver in the moonlight.

"Silver we have a visitor," Jax said as he came into the living room where I was watching tv. I looked over at Jax and the person beside him shrieked.

"AHH YOU HAVE WOLF IN YOUR HOUSE!" the person screamed. And it was a female judging by her sent. I got off the couch and padded over to Jax and he patted my head.

"It's okay Lacey she is harmless," Jax said to the female known as Lacey.

"Are you sure darling," Lacey said and I went over to her and sat down in front of her. She looked at me and hid behind Jax. I went back to the couch and sat down watching tv again.

 "She seems harmless what's her name?" Lacey asked Jax.

"Her name is Silver," Jax said.

"Silver that's a nice name," Lacey said and sat down beside me and started to pet my head. I then laid my head in her lap.

"Silver be a good girl and come get your steak without running through the house," Jax said. At the word 'steak' I shot my head up and jumped off the couch and trotted to my food.

"Why does she eat steak and not regular dog feed?" Lacey asked.

"She doesn't like dog feed the last time I tried to give her dog feed she growled at me," Jax said. When I was done I wanted to go out. Jax understood that and let me outside. Once I was outside I padded along the warm rock under my paws. I was enjoying myself when I heard a scream and some growling coming from Jax's house. I ran inside and saw another wolf twice the size of me so it was a male and by his sent he was an alpha, I growled at him and he turned around and growled back at me.
