Brianna Marie Carey had lived a somewhat normal life. She never had a father... he ran away when he found out his wife was pregnant with his best friends baby. Her mother passed away in 2007 from brain cancer, and now at 23 years old she's living alone in her NYC apartment.
With her best friends wedding less than three months away, she has to fly out to California to help the bride and groom set everything up. But while she's stressing over weddings and walking down Cali beaches, she meets two people she never would have expected to see in the USA... and she's even more surprised to find out about their family ties.
