Chapter 10

Ebony made two mugs of tea as her and Lauren had their DMC over their recent events.

"Lauren I can't believe this, I am so, so sorry!" Ebony exclaimed, passing her a cup of tea as she was still shaking from the cold.

"Ebony it's not your fault I'm pregnant we should've been more careful" Lauren said, putting her hands around the cup to warm them up.

"Well of course it is! It was my idea for us to loose our virginities at that stupid party... That whole night was a bloody disaster! If I hadn't suggested it I wouldn't be here! I wouldn't be in this mess with Michael!" She exclaimed, annoyed.

"Ebony you can't go blaming yourself for everything.. If you just told Michael the truth he would understand!"

"No no no no no no, I am not telling Michael, no one can know ok?!"

"Well you can't ignore him forever you know, he will find out" Lauren pointed out.

"Well he lives next door to me, it's impossible for me to ignore him I know, but I'm just not ready for everyone to know just yet..."

"Well you will have to tell them soon" Lauren said.

"Anyway, enough about me, how are you getting on? Are you keeping the baby? You still haven't told me why you've turned up out of the blue, as happy as I am to see you Lauren, I know this isn't some jolly, catchup visit"

"When my parents found out about the baby and that I was keeping it, they chucked me out" she sobbed, putting her head in her hands "I didn't know who else to turn to!"

"Lauren I am so sorry!" Ebony cried "this is all my fault! Why am I such a bloody screwup?!"

"Ebony your not, it's just hard for you at the moment!"

"Lauren I've ruined everything! I've torn my family apart, I've ruined things with Michael, I've ruined your family, then you got pregnant because of MY dumb idea for fuck sake!"

"Ebony everything is going to be fine" Lauren comforted, pulling her in for a hug "I promise"

"I'm so happy you came Lauren" Ebony sobbed.

"So am I, despite this mess we've created together" Lauren joked trying to lighten up the mood "We always have to cause some sort of drama together don't we?"

"Yeah I know" Ebony whispered, a light smile appearing on her face.

"Why don't you go and talk to Michael tomorrow?" Lauren suggested.

"No way in hell, he hates me" she said sadly.

"No he doesn't, he's just upset. And like you said, he lives next door so you can hardly ignore him"

"I can try, or at least put off seeing him"

They both stayed up until the early hours of the morning having a DMC with each other, laughing, crying and just catching up, until they were completely crashed out on the sofa.

Ebony slowly woke up, her back aching from the hard couch pillows. She rubbed her eyes and let out a massive yawn, before looking at her watch.

"SHIT!" She screeched, jumping of the sofa, waking Lauren up.

"Hmm what?" She asked, still half asleep.

"It's bloody ten o'clock!" She screamed "I've got school what on earth do I do?!?"

"EBONY CALM THE FUCK DOWN!" Lauren shouted, placing her hands on both of Ebonys shoulders "I'll tell you what we are going to do. We are going to have breakfast, get dressed, then go to the shop and buy as much junk food as we can and bring it back here and have a movie marathon"
