Emma's POV
6:30pm
We were in my mom's car on our way to the party, my dad stayed at home cause he didn't wanna miss his ball game on TV. Smh. Katie was constantly looking at herself on her phone camera to make sure her makeup was perfect, applying lip gloss every now and then. Sigh.
I really don't wear makeup so I just applied powder, some mascara and aquaphor. Katie on the other hand went full glam like it was prom or something. All for Mister Stone...wow.
"Emma, is my makeup okay, does it look smudged to you?.....Is there any lipgloss on my face?" Katie panicked.
"Don't worry, you look gorgeous sweetie" my mom said from the driver's seat as she gave her a smile from the rear view mirror.
"You both look gorgeous tonight" my mom said sweetly.
"Thank you Mrs Baker" Katie said.
"You're welcome Katie. But remember, no funny business, you both are too young to-.."
"Mom!" I groaned.
"What? Teenage pregnancy exists sweetie, I want you both to be careful, no funny business!"
"Okay, okay......" I said.
Katie was chucking beside me.
"Oh shut up!"
After a few minutes of jamming in the car to "Girls in the Hood" by Megan Thee Stallion. We were finally here.
7:09pm
Wow.
This house is huge. As huge as Drake's house. Yes it's that huge!
My mom was also wide eyed as she looked at the house.
"Aye yo! Katie! Emma!"
We stepped out of the car as we saw James run towards us. James; the cool one in our trio. He's the one that told us about the party and invited us to it. I just assumed it would be some small house or sum...but no...it turned out to be a damn mansion.
"Damn, you both look nice" he said with a smile.
"Thanks"' we both said in unison with blushes on our cheeks.
"Hold on lemme talk to your mom"
"Hi Mrs Baker" James said as he made his way to the car.
"Hi James. Is this house yours? Is it safe? There's no alcohol here right" she looked at him with a worried expression.
"No ma'm don't worry, there's no alcohol, it's clean here, and it's not my house". He chuckled. " It's Adam Stone's house."
Katie and I froze and looked at each other....
"I didn't know we were gonna be in Adam's house!" Katie whisper shouted to me as she started adjusting herself again.
"Me neither...." I whispered back looking at the ground.
"Okay girls! Have fun, be back before midnight!" My mom waved over to us as she drove away.
"Okay, let's go" James said as he made his way to us.
"Hold on! How did you get us into Adam's House?" Katie said as she looked at James with a quizzical look.
"I have connections" he shrugged. "I guess I forgot to tell you guys it was his house.....sorry bout that".
"You foRgoT? I would have picked a nicer dress and made myself look better if I knew I was at my future husband's house!" Katie said angrily.
"Woah woah, calm down, you look amazing okay" he said as he touched her shoulders and looked her in her eyes. "Trust me" he said with a smile and let go of her and looked down at his feet.
"Thank you" Katie said with a returning smile.
"Okay....let's go in then." I said ushering all of us inside as I heard music coming from inside.
As soon as we entered the house, we had eyes on us immediately. Both boys and girls stared at us as we walked by with looked of envy. Lmao I love this.
"Where's Adam?" Katie whispered to James.
"He's probably getting ready or something, come on let's go eat! And it's a ParTyy, enjoy yourselves" He said as he took us to the buffet.
Yayy food!
I grabbed some nachos, chicken and different stuff I could grab on a plate. I took bites out of my chicken and moaned in delight. Damn... it's so good.
I watched Katie and James on the other side of the buffet picking food and just talking with Katie occasionally looking around her to look for MiSter StOne. I just sat down and enjoyed my nachos and chicken some more.
"Are you gonna finish all that by yourself ?" I heard a voice chuckle behind me.
"Of course I a-.." I look behind me to see the owner of the voice.
My breath hitched as I looked as this beauty in front of me. He had these mesmerizing ocean blue eyes and curly brown hair with freckles spread across his cheeks and his pearly white teeth shone when he smiled. Damn....
"Hello? You okay?...."He waved his hands over my face.
"Oh..um I'm sorry..." I said as I looked down with a blush on my cheeks.
"It's okay" he laughed. I could listen to that laugh forever. "What's your name, beautiful?" He looked up at me as he raised my chin upward with his soft hands.
"E-Emma, yours?" I asked in the calmest tone I could muster in my current situation.
"Caden." He smiled and let go of my chin but still looked into my eyes.
"Would you like to dance?" He asked stretching his hand forward to me.
"Of course" I said with a smile and placed my hand in his gently. So much for finishing my nachos.
He took me to the dance floor and a slow song was playing. He gently placed his hands on my hips and my hands went up to his neck instantly. We danced along to the song slowly and smiled at each other constantly. I wish I could stay here forever. Damn...this guy is making me soft already.
We danced a few more times and enjoyed each other's company. He was a really fun guy once you get to know him.
I took him over to Katie and James and introduced them. They really seemed to like him and I was glad about that.
"So have you seen him?" I whispered to Katie.
"Not yet, but he's coming soon to start the games" Katie said with a grin on her face.
"What games are we talking about here?" I asked curiously.
"Oh, you know, Truth or Dare, Spin the bottle" Katie said with a smile.
"Ohh....okay, that should be fun" I smiled.
"HE'S COMING! HE'S COMING!" a random girl shouted!
Everyone stopped what they were doing immediately and looked over at the stairs as they heard the announcement.
We all heard footsteps as we saw a figure on the steps.
There he was. Adam Stone.
Katie fanned herself as she saw him descending the stairs and many girls started squealing and chanting his name. Damn...
He made his way down the stairs and everyone cleared a path for him.
"Okay everyone, let's get this party started!"
