The moon shined brightly as a diamond in the night sky, accompanied by a few stars. It was truly a beautiful sight for everyone, but it brought fear to Hana, for her staring in the night sky felt like she was staring at the abyss as she heard mumbled whispers beside her, letting her know that   the night has just began or she would say "hell".

Hana's apartment, 1 a.m.

The wooden door creaked open, making a squeaky noise. Waking up from the sound, Hana hid under the blankets and closed her eyes tightly praying it wouldn't notice her.......

creak....creAK.....CREAK....

She heard footsteps getting closer and closer to her

"Please,"

She whispered in a low tone.

"Go away,"

She added

Instead of hearing footsteps get further away from her, they got closer until the noise stopped. Hana thought it was over. Suddenly, a invisible hand snaked around her neck and choking her. She couldn't breath nor utter a single word, only mumbled screams could be heard as she tries to catch her breath.

BEEP....BEEP....BEEP...

The alarm sound woke her up from her sleep, telling her to wake up. The morning sunlight lighted the dark room. The light was very much blinding her eyes as she sat up from her bed. Then going to the bathroom stumbling along the way and looked at the mirror, seeing her reflection. Messy brown hair, dark circles below her amber eyes, an unbuttoned shirt exposing her collarbone and a visible bruise around her neck. She touched it and hissed in pain. After that, she just sighed as she was normal with this "thing" then did her morning routine.

Flashback

A few weeks ago,

AK Company, 3.37 p.m.

"HEY HANA LOOK!

Her friend, Lindsey shouted excitedly beside her catching almost everyone's attention as her voice was loud.

"Keep it down Linds!"

Embarrassed her, hiding behind the computer while slowly apologizing to the other employees. After the other employees minded their own business, Hana shot a glare at Lindsey and her friend responded with an awkward smile with a little giggle.

"Sorry,"

She apologized while looking down and scratched her head.

"Anyways, take a look here,"

She said while pointing at her monitor screen. Hana pushed her chair to go to Lindsey's workspace and averted her eyes to the screen.

"What is it?"

she asked curiously while reading the information on the it

"It's an apartment, it's cheap, fully furnished and near our office!"

she told to Hana in an excited manner

"Aren't I staying with you?"

Hana asked raising an eyebrow and made a questionable face at her friend.

"Yeah, but don't you think it's time for you to stay at your own place?....I mean GIRL YOUR TURNING 28 THIS YEAR AND you have to grow up....I can't take care of you all my lifetime besides you know I'm getting married next month,"

"I know, but I just can't find the perfect place to stay just yet....Other than that, houses and apartments these days are expensive....and would take more than a half of my monthly check....I don't know Linds....."

Hana explained to Lindsey

"So that's why I found this."

She said with a wide smile.

"It's perfect for you. Doesn't take more than half of your check and you don't need to spend any money on the furniture since it's fully furnished.....OH and don't worry I'll pick you up for work since it's near my house.....sooooo no excuses!"

"I-(sigh)....Fine but first I'll take a look at the place first then reconsider...Is that fine?"

"VERY!!!!"

Lindsey said while smiling brightly.

"I'll give you the phone number of the seller by text,"

she added. Hana nodded and continued to do her work.
