Bella's POV

I hadn't seen Mathew Keltings all day, so I thought he was at home. I was in the Cafeteria with Edward, Alice, and Jasper. I was tired of picking at my food, I told Edward, "I'll see you later Edward." I dumped my tray and walked outside. A few minutes later I got a phone call.

I answered the phone, I heard a voice say, "If you ever want to see your father again, Come to the meadow." I asked, "Why are you doing this to me Mathew?" He said, "I won't stop until I claim you as mine." I told him, "I'll be there soon." I took one last look at the cafeteria before I headed straight to the meadow.

A minute later I was in the meadow, Charlie was tied to a tree and Mathew Keltings had a gun in his hand. One thing he didn't know I was bullet proof because I was a vampire. I told Mathew, "Let my father go." Mathew said, "I won't until I have you as mine own." Charlie yelled at him, "You're a monster, a low life!" I turned to Mathew and with a smile on my face, I said, "Shoot me, I dare you." Charlie yelled, "NO!" Mathew pointed the gun at me and fired it at me. 

He suddenly dropped the gun, he notice the bullet just bounced of me. I laughed at him and said, "You can't kill the undead, you human." Before he could run away, I threw him across the meadow. I heard hip shatter and he cried out in pain. I yelled at him, "You're just a stupid and worthless human!" I walked over to Charlie and untied him. He asked me, "Why didn't the bullet hurt you?" I whispered to him, "Vampires are bullet proof." He let out a chuckle, he said, "Your unpredictable Bella." I smile at him, before I walked over to Mathew Keltings. 

I asked him sarcastically, "Oh are you in pain?" Then I just laughed at him, before I kicked him in his crouch area. He screamed so loud, I bet the wolves had heard him. I told Charlie, "If wolves come here don't shoot at them, they won't hurt you." He nodded his head, a few seconds later the wolves were here.

I told them, "That low life kidnapped Charlie. He just doesn't know when to quit." Sam and Jacob shifted into their human form, Charlie's eyes widen in shock. I told Charlie, "You have another secret you can't tell anyone." He nodded his head yes in understanding. I turned back to the wolf pack and said with a laugh, "He will never be able to have children." Jacob asked me, "Why is that?" I replied, "I kicked him where it counts." They all busted out in laughter, they thought it was funny.

Charlie was now standing by my side, he had a smile on his face. I asked the wolves, "What are we going to do to the bastard?" Sam replied, "We're just going to leave him here, simple as that." Jacob and Sam shifted back into wolf form, then they took off. Leaving me and Charlie alone in the meadow with Mathew. I asked Charlie, "Where did he kidnap you from?" He replied, "He flagged me down at the front of his house this morning, my patrol car is still there." 

I got Charlie on my back and said, "Hold on and you might want to close your eyes." Before he could say a word in response, I took off at top speed toward the school. 

Edward's POV

All of a sudden Bella was calling me, I answered it. I said, "Is something wrong?" I told him, "Not anymore, but I need to borrow your car." He said, "Okay..." She said, "I'll meet you in front of your car." Then she hung up. A minute later the bell rang and I headed to my car.
