Susan packed up to school and combed her hair. Every day she got up at 6 a.m. She looked at her watch, at her hands. 6:30. She didn't know what to do, so she simply pulled out a history book and started repeating the subject, although the test was only two weeks away. Suddenly an SMS from her only friend, Karen, came to her phone. She was much different from Susan, first of all she didn't care about learning, secondly she changed guys as fast as she did blouses and thirdly she was popular. It was strange that two such different girls found a common language. Hey! Apparently, our class is getting a new handsome guy, I bet I'll pick him up? Hah" she read, and there was a moan in her head. Why did Karen have to be so haughty?

"Hi. I won't bet because I know I'll lose. How long are you gonna be at school for, anyway?" Susan answers. She prefers to know when Karen will come to school, because being alone at school, around students who laugh and challenge her, without a friend defending her, was terrible. She hated the days when she was sick. And although she loved school, she counted down the minutes until she left it and came home. Karen didn't mind that much. She had many friends, everyone wanted to make friends with her anyway, so she could find someone in less than 20 minutes. Why was she so adored? She was a cheerleader, yes, but did anyone know the real Karen?

Susan sighed and was bored of waiting for an answer, she just went back to reading, but something kept her busy. She had never felt so weird. She gently closed the textbook, trying not to crumple any page. She decided to make herself breakfast, and her choice fell on oatmeal. Why? Because she had to focus so as not to set her on fire. She put her to work and at that time she brewed water in a tea kettle. Susan's mom loved to drink tea, so she had a lot of choices. Eventually, she put the groats in a bowl and chose the usual green tea. Seemingly typical, but she loved it. She was less interested in unusual flavors of mango and the like.

She sat on a chair and heard a text message. Surely Karen, who else would write to her? Unless it was to download homework or explain a task. She did not pay attention to this notification, she simply decided to enjoy the moment, although for a minute eating hot oatmeal. Sure, maybe oatmeal and tea wasn't a perfect combination, but, well, she liked it most. After eating it, she put the plate and mug in the dishwasher. 7:20. She will be leaving soon, fortunately, because it was starting to be boring and she couldn't concentrate on anything. She checked all the textbooks again and started going to school slowly.

Ryan rushed to brush his teeth and packed any notebook, hoping that he wouldn't get unprepared, even from one object. Although he didn't really care about the school at all. Suddenly he noticed that he had 20% on the phone and quietly cursed, then started looking for a powerbank with his eyes.

,,Lily," he yawned to his younger sister ,,have you seen my powerbank?"

Lily hid behind the wall. Yes, she took his property, but he's not the only one with a phone, right? But she knew that such arguments wouldn't do anything for her ice-cold brother. She had to get rid of the evidence and leave it somewhere where he could actually put it.

,,I don't know what you're talking about" she said sweetly and looking at her nervous brother, she started sneaking towards their common room. They lived together, although their sides of the room were very different. The right side belonged to Lily and was orange. On the shelf above the bed were her cups and medals for sport. The bed was sent, only her lucky red sweatshirt with her basketball team logo was lying in the middle of the bed as if it was her place. Next to the bed was a bright yellow puff. The left side, belonging to Ryan, was black. The linen was padded, but you could see that he did it as if he did it. On the shelf there was some notebook, drumsticks and his shirt, which had been lying there since the beginning of the school year, was falling off. There was a drums drums standing next to the bed. Lily quickly put the powerbank on the curved bed. Just before Ryan opened the door, he practically pulled it out of the hinges with such force.

,,Don't you know where my powerbank is, Lily?" He asked in a false friendly tone. Lily twisted her head and Ryan began to snoop through his things.

,,I've got," he said ,,Sorry, Lils."

,,All right," she replied. She loved what he said to her, "Lils" was her nickname from him, and he only used it when he did wrong. She looked at the watch ,,You have 10 minutes to start the lesson."

,,Oh, God," shouted Ryan, running out of the room ,,Bye!"
