11. Meet the family

KATS POV

As we drove up the street my palms started to sweat. I started getting nervous. Harry noticed I was beginning to get nervous and grabbed my hand. I looked into his dreamy green eyes and they automatically calmed me down " everything's gonna be okay" he reassured me. I couldn't talk. I gave Harry a small nod and looked out the window of the van. we started to slow down. my heart rate increased. I wasn't nervous,no,i was terrified. we came to a stop and I looked out of the window we were in the drive of semi-detached house with orangey bricks and hanging baskets of flowers on the corners of the shelter hanging over the door. it was much prettier than the homes back in Australia. it wasn't that cold out today so I was wearing a white blouse with back skinny jeans and white heels. Harry was in his usual black t-shirt and black too skinny jeans. Niall was wearing his Skool sucks top and navy jeans. Louis was wearing just a white tee and jeans. and Zayn was wearing a top that said "BAM" On it. and Liam had a batman top on. we walked up to the door and Harry put his hand on my back. " I'm scared" I whispered
"Trust me they are gonna love you but I'll go in first you go round to the back garden with the boys I'll bring them out to you." He explained the plan to us and then the boys showed me to their back garden. it was so pretty and big. it had a picnic bench and barbecue at the far right corner and a wooden hut with a hot tub in it the boys showed me to a beautiful part of the garden called the hangout. it was down some steps by the water feature under like a willow dome and it was laced with fairy lights and full of quotes and plaques and big soft pillows. it was magical the boys told me to wait in there with them I had Niall to the left of me and Zayn on the right Niall put his arm around my waist. I liked it. it made butterflies explode in my stomach. then Louis started telling me about all the memories they had in the hangout and I mean all of them.

HARRYS POV

I walked through the door to be met by the smell of hot chocolate chip cookies. Gemma was baking again I walked into the kitchen and they were all sitting by the table eating their food. my mum got up and walked over to me asking me was I alright and all that.
" I'm fine mum but I need to show you something" she started to look concerned but I told her it was nothing bad and asked them all to follow me I walked through the glass sliding doors out to the garden and we started to walk to the hangout. as we got closer I could hear kat's melodic laugh. she sounded carefree. I sighed a relieved sigh that she was fine. we got to the hangout and I pulled back the leaf cover and mum gasped. she knew. Kat had here back to us she shot her head round her, red hair flowing with her head the setting sun hitting her face perfectly making her look even more beautiful. " Mum" she said tearily my mum was frozen crying. my dad stood next to her in shock and Gemma had her hand over her mouth they couldn't believe it " it's me Katrina" Kat said after a few minutes of silence. my mum fell to her knees crying Kat climbed out of the hangout hugging her she was hysterically crying my dad and Gemma joined in and they were sitting in a pile on the floor crying I joined in we stayed like that for a while. and then when we broke apart I went over by the boys when my phone went off it was Louis posting a tweet on twitter

I looked at the photo it was all of us hugging in a pile on the floor. I hugged Louis and the rest of the boys. we had all gone and sat on the logs around the fire pit. Kat in between mum and dad me Gemma and Niall on another and Louis Liam and Zayn on the other. we were toasting marshmallows and Telling stories and memories laughing and making plans on how to meet the rest of the family.kat's smiled hadn't left her face since she saw mum and dad and Gemma. she was laughing more than I've ever seen her laugh before. it was a magical night. " I'm so sorry Kat I'll never forgive myself for leaving you" mum kept saying and Kat would laugh and say " its fine that was what fate desired and that's what happened I'm here now and that's all that matters" she is just amazing. I will never let anything hurt her again. I will protect her for forever. "singing time" Niall shouted it was dark now but magical the fire lighting up the garden sparks flying up to the sky every now and then. we sang a few songs and everyone joined in except for Kat. " Kat babe why don't you pick the next song?" I said trying to get her involved "okay I will but can I sing on my own this song means so much to me" aha asked hope in her eyes. " of course" I said without hesitation. she came over and swapped places with Gemma and sat next to Niall she whispered something in his ear he nodded and started playing some chords before we all realised what he was playing it was 'yours' by Ella Henderson she started singing. "I'll wear your winter coat, the one you love to wear..." she sang and she was amazing we were all crying.she was totally into the singing like it was only her. it got me to thinking about the words. I remember her saying earlier she said ' it was fates decision to keep me hear today' " and I know everyday I say it but I just want you to be sure..." she belted her heart out crying as she sang . she was saying that she wanted everyone to know whatever happened to her was fates choice and that she belonged to her fate and that what fate decided would happened she wouldn't argue or moan because she never has in the entire 2 weeks I've known her she hasn't complained about anything " that I-I-am yours she sang" before looking around and then looking towards the floor like she was ashamed"tha-that was stunning!!" My mother cried running over to her crying "ye you never said you could sing like that?" I said " you never asked" she giggled. I gave her a huge hug whispering in her ear " I'll never let anyone hurt you" as she tightened her grip. we pulled apart and stared into each others eyes and then I looked at the time 10:43pm we had better leave. we walked through the house and out of the front door Kat hugging mum dad and Gemma then Gemma handed her a big tub and I knew exactly what it was... COOKIES!! We clambered in the van and then KATS phone went off. she looked at it and out it back in her pocket it went off again.and again. and again " everything okay Kat?" Zayn asked concerned "hmm" she mumbled nodding before looking back down at the floor. I didn't want to keep on but felt like I should. I'd ask her in the morning.

KATS POV

I'd been having a great day and then they started doing this. I wish Eleanor was here she'd know what to do she couldn't get time off school and had to go back. I decided to keep it to myself it would only worry the boys. I could handle it. right now I just want my bed. it'll all stop in the morning. they'll have moved on to something else.yeah.thats what'll happen. right now I just focused on my bed. we got home and I went straight to my room and fell asleep.

NIALLS POV

Kat wasn't acting normal in the van and I started to worry " boys what's up with Kat she was fine until we got in the van" I asked concerned. Kats really sweet and I...I mean we want her to be happy. " I don't know" zayn said " but something's wrong" the boys were sitting down watching the conjuring so I went up to my room. As I walked up the corridor Kats door was open I knocked and went in to check she was okay and she was asleep. I went over to her. she was so cute sleeping she was cute anyway but was still cute when she was asleep she didn't look like a walrus like some girls do. I saw her phone on the table next to her. I though about checking it but no that was bad it was snooping , invading her privacy so I didn't I'm not like that but when I was standing there next to her bed I realised something and it made me smile... I liked Kat...
