Britney's POV

I knew what Blake was hinting about. "Uhm, Blake," I said. "Can I talk to you for a second?"

"Yeah," said Blake. "I'll be right back."

"Okay," said Alexis. "I'll be right here."

Blake followed me into my kitchen. "You're not playing her, are you?" I asked.

"No, I can't do that," said Blake. "I love her and I want to marry her already."

"Whoa, take it slow," I said. "Can I tell you something?"

"What?" asked Blake.

"You hurt my bae, I'll come for you. She's my best friend. The one who makes me happy."

"I can never hurt Alexis. After everything I've done for her, I can't think about hurting her."

"Good because I know she cares about you a lot." I smiled. "And you didn't hear this from me, but she really did think about marrying you but you never asked her." I looked at Blake. "I'm glad you were the one that popped into her mind when she was at her wedding. If she wasn't thinking, she would already have a ring on her finger."

"Well, I'm glad she's single and not with Tony. Do you think she'll marry me next year?"

"Give her two years. Date her for a year, be engaged for a year, and then marry each other."

"Okay, I'll do that. Sounds like a plan." I looked at Blake. "I'm serious! And when it's time to go ring shopping, you're going with me."

"You want me to choose the ring?" I asked.

"You're her "bae" and I honestly do think you know her more than I do." Blake smiled at me. "I'm shooting facts to you."

"Blake, if you love her, you know what kind of ring she would want." He nodded no. "Yes, Blake. You do. You do know what kind of ring to get her."

"She's an amazing girl. Talented too and smart." Blake sat down on the counter. "Honestly, why would she want a guy like me?"

"Blake, she loves you for you and you just told me what you love about her."

"And it's all true. She's smart, funny, kind, beautiful, and charistmatic." I smiled at Blake. "She speaks her mind and she's not afraid to be her. She doesn't care what other people say about her."

"Blake, you love her. And you just told me everyone you love about her." I looked at Blake. "But seriously. She knows something about you. She told me, of course, but the both of us don't look at you differently. I know she doesn't." I sighed. "You might have deleted it from the internet but she still remembers it."

"What does she remember?"

"On twitter, you told someone that your dyslexic." I sighed. "It popped up on her twitter notifications."

"And she really doesn't look at me differently?"

I nodded. "No, because she loves you, Blake, since she was fifteen."

"Fifteen?"

"June 22, 2012 was when After Romeo was formed. Alexis was there from the very beginning."

"She knows that but doesn't look at me differently?" Blake sighed. "If she saw me rehearse, she must think I'm a joke."

"You can never be a joke to her, Blake."

"I don't believe you."

"Come on," I said. I poked my head into the living room. "Alexis, can you come here a sec?"
