"No"

"Come on do you want to go to hell?"

This comment really got to my nerves. I twitched my brows and looked up at Emily in her ridiculous yellow sunday dress. She had made me dress up like her also in a light pink dress with rinestones riming it on the bottom. It was not a bad dress, it was just not me.

"Emily you need to understand. I dont want this 'god's love. Not that he is even real." I said sighing exaushed by this converstion to be over. We had been at this for over half an hour outside her chuch. It had one of those signs that said "Welcome Gods love" or something like that. Yea right, no.

Emily just looked at me her eyes wide. "This is because of your fathers isnt it. Listen we will get you cleansed right away." She said grabbing my hand. I pulled away sharply looking hurt. No one talks about my dads like that. "Just go Emily. Dont say that about my dads ever again or else." I said fearcly.

I walked away as Emily just watched me. Once I had gotten a far distance away tears started to drop from my eyes, making my make-up run. No one really understanded my family. We were the odd balls who always had people gossiping about them. I have 2 fathers and I love them both. My father became pregnant with me after he had had a sex change. It was a one in a million chance, but I was born.

We had moved here 2 months ago and most people just thought I was just like them. A church goer who thinks this god in the sky is real. No that is not me at all. I think it is all science not all that Adam and Eve stuff.

I had had many friends, but I had lost each after they found out I was Athiest, Had 2 dads, or some other thing like smoking or the 'sins'.

I had started to walk home, counting my steps until I ran into someone. Someone who should be at church and not smoking. "Tom. What are you doing?" I asked looking up at the blond boy who just stared at me blankly. "Is that a ciggaret?" I asked teasing him. He was the most popular boy in the school who seemed like your little goody two shoes.

Well until now.
