Chapter 03
The Deal"Anong sabi niya?"
Hanan continued to chat with Tala about another deity who hated mortals, which meant they hated them too. Sa totoo lang ay para bang pakiramdam niya lahat ng mga diwata ay may galit sa kanila and their reason was so.. irrational. Illogical. Hindi sila maintindihan ni Mayari.
Tala simply sighed, taking a sip of her tea. "Wala 'yon," She replied. "It's not a big deal."
Umiling lamang si Hanan na hanggang ngayon ay may hawak na pitsel na gawa sa marmol, it's what she uses to water the plants every morning. "Mukha silang tanga," She muttered under her breath.
"Why hate the people they create and assist everyday for thousands of years?"
"Maybe they don't hate them," Hanan said.
Tala almost spit her tea out at her sister's remark. "Huy!" She scolded. "Ikaw, baka marining ka no'n, kung ano ano sinasabi mo."
"Ang bait niya kasi e!"
"Ako ba?"
"Ay gago!" Hanan cursed in sheer surprise.
The three goddesses all jumped at the same time.
"'Yung bibig mo, Hanan!" Tala scolded her sister for the second time. Hindi nakapagsalita si Hanan. She placed her hand on her thumping chest as she tried to stabilize her breathing. Man, she hated surprises.
"Ayos lang 'yun," Dian giggled as she joined the three, sitting beside Hanan. "So, what were you guys talking about?
She already had a feeling that she'll be one of the reasons kung bakit sila mapapatalsik sa Kaluwalwatihan balang araw. Siya at ang bibig niyang walang preno. Oh well, she had no right to judge her dahil siya rin naman ay sinasabi kung ano ang nasa isip niya.
Dian laughed. "Hindi 'no," She answered. "Hindi ako kagaya no'n, tsaka I love the humans. Madalas nga akong bumaba sa lupa. I find them interesting."
She was curious about the goddess.
Marahan na tumango si Dian. "I guess part of it is? But I really do find you guys interesting in your own ways at tsaka I don't know, I really want to be friends with you."
"Bakit?" In a way, magkakamukha ang takbo ng mga utak nila.
'This again?' She didn't have any bad intentions, unlike some deities.
