The darkness in the cabin was fighting with the golden light from the fireplace.

 It felt strange on the lush couch that was placed before the warmth of the blaze. Their legs were loosely tangled under the concealment of the cotton blanket that vaguely smelt of fabric softner. Her head rested on his steady chest that would slowly rise and fall; inhaling the strong fragrance of her conditioned hair that tickled his chin. Her body was splayed against his, her back facing the wooden ceiling and her arms wrapped tightly around his waist. 

The butterflies were fluttering ever so lightly in the pits of their stomachs. Calm breaths and satisfied smiles. Fingers tracing each others' skin and eyelids shut with content. The slight raising of their matching sweatshirts and the familiar contact of skin.

When she pushed herself up a little to give him a quick peck, he pulled her back down with a frown.

"Where do you think you're going?"

"To makes us some coffee"

"Shut up and lie down"

"But-

The walls blushed when he pulled her down to his lips. Needless to say, the coffee was forgotten.  Everything was pure bliss.
