Tris POV

Since this was my first child, I thought parenting would be easy. I was wrong. I forgot to read pregnancy books, look at the websites. Tobias and I weren't prepared for anything. Mom and dad tried helping. Even Christina, Cara, Zoe, and Nita. We told them we could handle it. BOY were we wrong.

Later in the day

I was throwing around diapers, baby bottles, books, and toys! I didn't know what I was doing!"Tobias I need some help!"I yelled across the room. Amy was throwing anything she could possibly reach at me. I could feel the bags underneath my eyes get more heavier. My eyes shut for a moment, then I opened them again to see Amy crying.

I picked her up and shook her around a bit. She got a little quiet to where, you could still hear crying but not as loud. Tobias walked out groggily staring at the ground."Tobias please I need your help!"I begged him."I know Tris and I'm sorry. It's just that ever since Amy was born, I can't get any sleep!"

Tobias walked to the cupboard finding something to eat."Tobias I can't get any sleep either! Just please take Amy I'm calling my mom!"I started walking towards Tobias."No Tris don't call your mom!"Tobias stopped me."Why not she had two kids, Caleb and I she knows what we're dealing with!"I exclaimed making Amy cry more.

I shook her back in forth again."Tris she'll think we can't handle taking care of a kid!"Tobias said."That's what your worried about? Tobias she'll understand."

I walked over to the phone and dialed my mothers number. She picked up on the first ring."Hey honey how's parenting?"Natalie asked me."Not so good, listen can you watch Amy for a few days? While Tobias and I do the research?"

"Tris it's not about science! It's about bonding with your child!"My mother explained to me."I know but honestly we are so tired. I mean so tired Tobias is falling into his cereal! So please mom!"

"Fine bring her over! Grandma and Amy time!"I hung up and put Amy in her bassinet. Then I lifted Tobias' head out of his cereal."Tobias wake up!"I said."What? Huh? I'm sorry Tris we need a break!"

"Thats why I called my mom for! She's watching Amy for a few days!"I hugged Tobias and put Amy by him I walked into my bedroom and laid on the bed for a few seconds. I stared up at the ceiling wondering. How am I supposed to raise another child, if I can't raise my first?

I got up and walked into the bathroom and looked in the mirror. I had spit all over my shoulders. I didn't bother cleaning it up. I undressed and took a shower. I sighed in relief letting the water wash over me. I washed my hair, and body. I stood in the shower for a couple more minutes. Then I got out and dried off, looking in the mirror to see my face returned back to my glorious face, maybe that's what I needed a shower!

I stepped out and put a aqua blue blouse on, with black skinny jeans. I put on some black heels, which made me feel young again. I put my luscious blonde hair in a pony tail. Then I walked out to switch with Tobias. He handed me Amy and walked into our bedroom.

I looked into Amy's beautiful blue eyes and saw me. But I looked at her hair it was brown like Tobias'. I chuckled to myself, seeing both Tobias and me in our daughter. I took her out of her bassinet and held her in my arms. I kissed her forehead and just held her. It was the most amazing feeling in the world! I set her down to see Tobias walking out refreshed, I chuckled.

"What's so funny?"He asked me."Nothing just looking at us before we hadn't showered to now."I smiled and laughed. So did Tobias."Ready to go?"He asked me."Yep Grandma time for Amy."I carried her.
