Waiting for the job

You're packing up your clothes waiting for Ms.Pauling to come and pick you up. You have two PhDs, One in Medicine and another In Engineering. You are quite proud of your PhDs, after all, it wasn't easy. You signed up for the job as soon as you saw it after all it offered all that cash and well let's say your family isn't the richest. Your grandma and grandpa raised you since your parents were busy trying to fix all the depts. It's been your dream since you were little to have your family live the high life. (I'm Projecting.) Your heart swells at the Idea of your grandparents living comfortably. You look around your now baren small apartment. You look at your dog. Your glad you could take your dog with you but you were slightly concerned about your dog. Would she get along with the others?  Who cares she will mostly stay in your room like the lazy dog she is. Picking up your suitcase and your dog's leash you head over to the outskirts of the town. You see in the distance a car driving at high speeds and you hope that she notices you before its too late. The car gets closer then drifts to a stop about 4 feet away from you. You assuming the lady that comes out of the car is Miss Pauling. "Y/N?" She says. "Miss Pauling?" You say after. She chuckles and offers you a hand. You shake her hand and she speaks as you both let go. "Yes if you would hop in the car along with your pet so we can get going. I'm on a bit of a time crunch." You do as she instructs and sit down in the front seat while your dog lays on the floor in the back. "You have such a cute dog!" She coos while you both speed off. "Not so cute when her slobber is all over you," you replied. Miss Pauling chuckles " She won't slobber all over my floor will she?" "No, as long as there's no food there and shes kept at a normal temperature." She gives a small hum. You both sit there in silence as the sun lowers. You get there by sunset and Miss Pauling announces your arrival. "Were here." You both exit the car and you have to practically pull your dog out of the car. You walk alongside her to the building your dog held tightly to your side. She walks in and this speedy guy runs over to the both of you completely ignoring that you there which is kind of weird since your quite taller than him and buffer. "Hey uhm Miss Pauling I-" he's cut off by Miss Pauling."Scout go fetch the rest of the team." "Yup Right uh ill go get them." He salutes as he runs off. You look at Miss Pauling and she keeps looking forward and starts walking. You follow her analyzing the walls as you go.
